In a dragonfly-print sari by Kallol Datta and silver jewelry, Sona attended the recent event felicitating National Award winners. In a perfect world, we’d have much rather seen a structured tote or a clutch with the sari. But that minor gripe aside, Ms. Mohapatra did look goood! We like.

At Kallol Datta Fall/Winter 2013 Presentation
Two recent appearances had Ms. Mohapatra pick saris. At Fashion Week, it was a sea-foam Sailex sari and at the Birthday do, a striped Kallol Datta.
She wears both saris well. Our only minor gripe was with the choice of those woven ballet flats she paired her Kallol Datta with. (Not opposed to the idea of wearing flats, just not those particular ones.)

Wearing black and white saris with a Twist (get it? get it?) were these ladies with Sona pairing her Kallol Datta sari with a choker t-necklace and Udita a t-belt at the waist under her Arpan Vohra.
While Udita’s look had us scratching our heads, quite loved Sona’s look. The studded choker with the sari made for an impactful look, one that I would love to recreate. In her case though, a lil’ editing would’ve helped like skipping on the arm band and wearing the small bag on the shoulder. It just looked silly on the wrist.
