At the trailer launch of an upcoming movie of hers, Jacqueline was photographed in a full-skirted Philipp Plein dress. Perhaps in an attempt to dial down the tweenishness, she paired the dress with a pair of edgy Louboutins. Did it help? Am not quite sure it did. Though styled well, even worn well, the look didn’t make too much of a positive impact. Maybe with edgy thigh-high lace-ups/boots and a ponytail, Ms. Fernandez could serve up some serious boudoir chicness, which by the way, even if excessive and costume-y, I am certain the playful actor could totally work. Or better yet, should’ve just ditched the dress and started over.

Like many celebs in attendance, Jacqueline also went with a Manish Malhotra to wear to the charity gala dinner tonight in Mumbai. It’s not that she didn’t look nice but I just wasn’t a fan of the off-shoulder design. Would’ve preferred one Manish’s bandhgala style design here for a more elegant touch. I also wish she’d worn her hair in an updo.

In Nithya Lamahewa

At Manish Malhotra’s bash, we were surprised to see Jacqueline in a sari. Surprised just because folks tend to stay away from wearing saris these days at parties, which in itself is an unfortunate case. Given that the dinner was in honor of several international celebrities visiting India, we thought it was a great move to wear a sari and loved the pick.

Her batik print sari by Sri Lankan designer Nithya Lamahewa was quite cute and pairing it with that unconventional numbered blouse showed Ms. Fernandez’s ever present playful mood. She looked lovely.

Travel(v)ogue

During the course of her travels, Jacqueline served up denim two ways. Comfortable shoes and a Céline ‘Nano’ bag finished out the look both times. Between the super-distressed pair and the maxi skirt, it was easier to pick the latter as the more favorable look of the two.

Jacqueline attended TOIFA wearing a gown by Lebanese designer, Rami Kadi with diamond earrings from Nirav Modi jewels. Yes, she wore the gown well but am a bit underwhelmed by the hair.
