Ditto!

This one’s a doozy! Not. Sophie has this one in the bag, nice and easy. Bad footwear and unnecessary bling was Gayatri’s undoing.

In Shahab Durazi

At the recent Hello! Hall of Fame Awards, Kamal had worn a Shahab Durazi couture gown… While the gown would’ve worked in a high-drama editorial, Kamal just looked like a waylaid christmas present.

Pulled back hair and zero jewelry would’ve made a (big) difference but between the color, the huge bow, the beaded bodice and the fringe thrown in for good measure, we doubt it would’ve worked in any case.

P.S: See a version of this gown on Aishwarya here and, on Lara Dutta here.

Bag Spotting

Wearing a Chanel Fall 2010 outfit, Komal made an appearance at the Hello Hall Of Fame Awards. It was the arm candy though that caught our eye. “Hello Lover”!

Am not one for novelty minaudieres (Leiber anyone?) but this, just sings to me. It does. Part of the Paris-Moscow collection, the Matryoshka doll bags were instant collectibles from Chanel.

Update: See this outfit on Chloe Sevigny here.

Not Quite

Neck-up, love it. The color works great for Ms. Kapoor too. It’s the ruffled dress we have a problem with. The addition of the belt didn’t quite salvage it either. It’s a Not Quite for us.

In Roberto Cavalli

It was a silk one shouldered printed Roberto Cavalli gown that we spotted on Ms. Dubash recently. The minaudiere paired with the dress works but can’t say the same for the heels. So clunky/chunky. It’s an Almost for us.
