I hadn’t cared for Gauri’s Dolce and Gabbana outfit that she wore to the Vogue India launch party, not that I have anything against wild animal prints, just that this particular outfit seemed a bit much, and clearly did nothing for Ms. Khan.
And now, compare that look to what Gauri turned out in for Zee’s anniversary party! Totally loving it. Here too, the animal print made an appearance, but in no way for which I’d complain! That animal print clutch gives it just the right amount of edge. Great way to take a chic, and in this case, a ‘safe’ look and give it a bit of an edge, a racier punch…

What happened to her cheeks? She has either been photoshopped or this is the real Gauri(minus her make-up). I am putting my money on the photoshop factor! Magazines these days are notorious for photoshopping models!

We first spotted Gauri Khan in a Dolce and Gabbana outfit. Avanti Birla too donned on a Dolce and Gabbana outfit. Both sported that same wide belted waist. And then, weeks and weeks later, we saw Aishwarya wearing an outfit that had the same wide belted accent on the waist!

The same quite happened with the anarkali look too! We saw everyone flaunting the look much before we saw Aishwarya emerge in it!
Do you think its an intentional,’am-no-slave-to-fashion-stance’ of hers, or she is just ‘fashionably clueless’? Based on her former faux pas, one tends to believe the latter!

So, Gauri Khan decided to repeat her outfit, within a span of oh-so-few weeks! At the Dutt book launch (above), she teemed her shirt-dress with denims. And at the FHM magazine launch (below), she decided to work the shirt-dress, in all of its glory, as a dress (but of course!). Why repeat the shirt dress so soon, even when styled differently is beyond me, but luckily for us, she doesn’t know we are watching!
