The ladies both picked anarkalis for their respective appearances and of the two, Nargis (in a Jade anarkali with jewellery by Curio Cottage) was an easy favorite. Asin looks way too overwhelmed in hers. And that color really isn’t doing much for her.

With this latest sighting of hers, Amrita debuted a new (to this blog) designer, Alkesh Ramwani. In a rosette accented tule dress paired with a purple embellished velvet jacket, Amrita started off 2013 on a rather dated and tacktastic note. But it’s only January, we are still holding on to hope.

P.S: When done right, the whole jacket + dress combination (dressed up or down) is a great idea to give a look bit of a contemporary twist. Right however being the operative word.

Sporting a shorter do curled Farah Fawcett-ish style, Esha made an appearance at the IBN 7 Super Idol Awards in a Rohit Gandhi and Rahul Khanna colorblock dress with a cuff by Curio Cottage, Christian Louboutin clutch and Steve Madden t-strap sandals.
Am on the fence on the hair. Not quite feeling it with this ensemble but what say you?
