Sari Style

On Friday, Kareena attended a panel discussion at the HT Leadership summit in Delhi wearing a sari look. A regular sari look this definitely wasn’t.

Instead of a traditional blouse, the striped Dev R Nil sari was paired with a vintage Christian Lacroix jacket and the look was finished out with a a statement Amrapali necklace.

She looked phenomenal.

Freida and Dev at The Golden Globes: A First Look

Aaargh. I had a feeling this might happen, that we would be disappointed with Freida at her first big award show.

I love this color on her but I hate the draping of this strapless gown. Why, Freida, why!

You like?

Update: Added more pics and Freida is carrying a Judith Leiber Satin and Crystal Minaudiere.

Another Update: A big thank you to Fashion Critic of Red Carpet Fashion Awards for ID’ing Freida’s gown! Also, you can see more pics inside.

The Mad Hatter

Natasha Poonawalla at the Mcdowell Indian Derby sported a fascinator! Can’t be at the races without one after all. Got to admire her committing to the look (we’ll just turn a blind eye to the sparkly yellow dress for now)!

Derby or not, could Ms. Poonawala have taken a cue from the Spring 2008 Couture shows where fascinators seemed to have been the norm?

Just Bottled Water. Not.

Source

So, to celebrate the season, Evian is releasing Evian Limited Edition by Christian Lacroix bottles that come in two variations. While one Limited Edition Evian Bottle by Lacroix imitates a lace pattern, giving the bottle a frosted and elegant feel, the other bottle comes in the Haute Couture variation, personifying Evian in all of its majestic and feminine glory!

The bottle is slated to be available in high-end grocery stores, restaurants and hotels and the 750 ml bottle will retail for approximately $7.99 – $9.99 in restaurants, and approximately $5.99 in high-end grocery stores.

At that price for less than a litre of water, is that what they mean when they say, ‘Water, water everywhere and not a drop to drink’??!!
