India International Jewellery Week 2013 took place in Delhi this year and instead of a week long affair, it wrapped up in just two days. As is the case with any week, there were plenty of celeb showstoppers.
We, of course, just don’t get the concept of a jewellery week. As it is the showstoppers are distracting enough but add to that the busy outfits they wear and who is really paying attention to the jewels. We’re trying but it’s quite hard!
Are we the only ones? Wouldn’t a simpler Trade Show be the better route to go?

It’s a bummer we don’t have a full-length of Chitrangda who wore a Resort 2013 Naeem Khan. Her white gown featured gold embroidery was just exquisite. While she dressed up her look at the technical awards (see here), this look she kept simple wearing her hair down.

Chitrangda alongwith Karan Johar hosted TOIFA’s technical awards on Friday night in Vancouver. For her appearance, she picked a Gauri and Nainika gown featuring a ruffled white top and a velvet black skirt.
Customary red lips, Eina Ahluwalia hoop earrings and a Fendi box clutch finished out the black and white look. One of the few Gauri Nainika ruffled gowns that I quite like.
She, of course, looked great as usual.

Remember this post where we had spotted Ms. Singh in the Gauri-Nainika gown?
Turns out the photoshoot was for Hi!Blitz’s April edition in which she features along with Force India F1 drivers Adrian and Paul.
