While, others go from white to black when going from day to night, Freida went the other way around. For her daytime appearance, Freida chose a black dress(see here) but at the evening event (The 14th Annual Critics’ Choice Awards), she went with a white draped dress.

I adore Amrapali, I think their jewelry is absolutely fabulous! You are always sure to find something that is either traditional with a modern twist or modern with a traditional twist but always something that is unique and fantastic! Love their Khan market store in Delhi, am yet to leave empty-handed once am in, a bauble or two always makes its way in…
Now that the gushing is out of the way…the fashion week preview of Amrapali has me worried. If someone didn’t caption it ‘Amrapali’, I wouldn’t have ever guessed…
Though disappointed at the preview, we are still looking forward to the Autumn/Winter show…and hoping our worst fears don’t come true…

Well, we don’t know how much of a hand UK Prime Minister Gordon Brown had in it, but we did find out that during her visit to India, the PM’s wife Sarah was lucky enough to wear free outfits by Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla!
And if that wasn’t enough, Amrapali Jewels loaned her precious jewelry worth £30,000 to wear with her designer outfits!
Hmm I wonder if President Sarkozy is still available!?

While most were going crazy over Sarah Michelle Gellar’s Lanvin Pearl and Satin Necklace($715), they didn’t notice the Amrapali diamond bangles that she also wore with the same outfit. If you thought the price of the necklace was a tad bit much, then this piece of info won’t comfort you at all. The 18k gold bangles with rose cut diamonds range from a mere $7000 to $14000. Pocket change for people like SMG, isn’t it!
Halle Berry has begun a love affair with Amrapali jewelry.. First she walked the red carpet of her movie “Things We Lost In The Fire” at 51st London Film Festival. The total cost of her jewelry.. about $16,000. The major chunk of the change was because of the bangles, but what I am in love with is that ring!
Later that week, while she was in Rome to promote the same movie, she wore a pair of Amrapali gold earrings to the launch party of Roberto Cavalli for H&M. The same pair were also worn by Selita Ebanks to the Teen Choice Awards earlier this year..
