As comments have proven each time, some of you are bound to love this look, and others hate it just as fervently. Me? Am on the fence. Personally, the Abu Sandeep look (Dress? Kurta?) is not my cup of tea, not at all. That said, Aishwarya doesn’t look as overwhelmed in it as I expected her to. Not that it means much.
How I wish she had offset all that’s going on with her outfit by opting for less statement-y earrings, softer lips and hair worn away from her face. If she had to have some hair framing her face, she could’ve always done a wispy, romantic updo or a wide, loose side-braid… Something, anything over the voluminous mass of red-brown on her shoulders.

For a recent event in London, Aishwarya opted for a Sabyasachi.
Those of you who have been complaining about her constant choice of heavy outfits and speculating ‘hiding’ behind yards of fabric aren’t going to be happy with this recent appearance. And while we too would like to see her in something more tailored, we do think she looked lovely. The look works for her.

At the amfAR Gala in Cannes, Aishwarya opted for an Abu Sandeep chikan sari. Smokey eyes, updo and a cocktail ring completed her look.
What do you make of her highly anticipated Cannes sighting? As with every Aishwarya post, am sure there will be very strong likes and dislikes… :) As for me, I like. Am I blown away? No.

It was Abu Sandeep for Aishwarya at the recent Awards. Between the looong kurta, the squiggly geometric patterns and neon accents, it just was so overwhelming. The outfit was doing the lovely Ms. Bachchan no favors at all.
