At the launch of a new jewellery collection, Tabu was seen wearing a black sheer sari. If you’ve followed the actor for a while, you know she likes to keep it simple when it comes to styling so this appearance of her sure came as quite a surprise.
Having said that though, while she wore the sari well, can’t say we like the sari itself. The floral embroidered borders was just overwhelmed.

I don’t think anyone cares for what I’m thinking. But if they do, this certainly makes it more interesting than before.
We should have some people posting under the names of the regular commenters like Avani, Aunty Acid, Moni Pal, Sapphire etc etc. Sorry, I couldnt name everybody. It could shake things up for a while lol
Oh wow…. what a beautiful sari and Tabu sure know how to carry one.
I like it, although I would have worn pearls with this romantic sari. Tabu has the height and personality to carry this off! She looks gorgeous.
Why not, its a pretty saree and she looks statuesque.
Everything doesn’t have to be Fabindia or dowdy cotton or shiny blingy Kanjeevaram with Gajra.
A woman can wear wispy chiffon and Georgette with some pretty floral broders too.
It to me looks like the beautiful Kashmiri sarees or the Parsee embroidery which moms used to lust after in the 80’s and 90’s.
That’s one ugly saree but Tabu looks statuesque. Great background for the jewellery — and I’m stunned at her figure, frankly. Not everyone can pull off a sheer saree with so much dignity.
