Tabu roped in Priyadarshini Rao to create a “sizzling” look for her appearance at the Miss India 2008 finals, because she was bored of beiges and whites.
So, the question is, did she “sizzle” enough or not so much?
I loved that she let the dress shine and kept her makeup and hair simple!
I think her look is fantastic. Simple makeup/hair lets the outfit stand out really well.

For me Priyadarshani Rao has always been about linens…I own so many beautiful linen kurtas by her which is brilliant for summers! But its so great to see something so different from her! Love it!
y’know most of the anarkali designs that have been going around on vidhya, rani etc have usually made me look away but this lady just made me do a complete head spin! she looks fiery and angelic at the same time. good going tabu!

The kurtas aren’t too bad, I’ve seen/picked up many that were under Rs. 2000, in fact, I’ve seen some on sale at Be: for as low as Rs 800/900 also! The salwar-kameezes are of course a lot pricier!
As far as online goes, am not aware of any place that does.
It’s beautiful; the borders tone down the bright red.
