Like Katrina, Taapsee served up a whole lot of red in her Kommal Sood gown at IIFA Rocks. Wearing her hair up, she finished out the look with flowers in her hair, a matching red lip, big earrings, cocktail ring and a bindi.
We love a surprise, especially when unexpected elements are brought together. Unfortunately here, neither the flowers nor the bindi worked. Especially the latter. Had she worn her hair fully up and skipped the bindi, the look would’ve gone up a notch or two.

I’d like to yank off the bindi and lend it to Katrina to wear with her AJSK.
Where are the damn flowers? Given that most lehengas/desi clothes have been westernized with strapless/sphagetti types. I dont mind the bindi with the gown. She looks nice. Wish she picked different pair of earrings though.

Desperado Tapsee is trying hard to stand out in Bollywood. Looks like she is standing out for all wrong reasons. Her stone faced performances and her red carpet looks are crap.
I am amazed by the bile that is let loose in the form of fashion comments here! I guess this comment will not be posted, but people really must be having a really bad day to make comments so harsh!
What the heck are people talking about?! It is a good look. Not the same old westernised rubbish. The look is clean fusion. The colour does not overwhelm her. Its beautiful and different. Anyway, It works for me even though I have a general dislike for gowns that have this kind of bottom. But sometimes, people do it so well its hard to find fault – you just want to be happy for them.
