Looks like nobody let Mansi know that Sushmita had just worn this Stella McCartney jumpsuit a month back. We don’t like the the jumpsuit much but have to say that it looked way better on Ms. Sen. Who gets your vote?

  1. I thought Sush looked fab but I gotta admit that Mansi looks even better.
From what I see her shoes are better. Plus LOVE her clutch & hair!!

  2. I really wish we wouldn’t foster this whole ‘OMG-She-Repeated-An-Outfit??!’ / ‘Hadn’t-someone-else-already-worn-this-like-a-week-back’ attitude. It’s just an ugly and unhealthy way of being, and reeks of vanity, wasteful indulgence, peer pressure, and a complete divorce from reality. Happily, many more folks are seeing it that way, with fashion heavyweights like Anna Wintour repeating outfits several times a month. If you like an outfit, what do you care if someone else was seen in it? So what if you’ve worn it five times already. Come ON.

It’s a slippery slope from there to the recent H&M unsold clothes controversy.

    • As much as I love your blog P&P, I have to agree with TiC on this one. We shouldn’t be promoting this haughty OMG-she-repeated type of a thing. It shouldnt matter if something is repeated, or who wore it first. On the other hand, a who-wore-it-better is okay.

I know many young girls who read this website, and we want them to grow up learning “fashion need not be wasteful”, and fashion is all about feeling your “inner you today” rather than “peer pressure”

        • i like that PnP give credit to the person who gave wore it first. it shows the entrepreneurial/ original attitude of that celebrity. of course it takes guts to try an attire first, before anyone has tried it….those celebrities have taken an effort to lead and inspire other undecided, fearful fellow celebrities.
On a side note, isnt it why companies take patent for releasing their original product? the rest are copycats.
