Compare this picture of Sush to say Bipasha up above this or the two pictures below (I believe one is of Natasha Poonwala and the other of 2 women in that blue dress).

Sush stands out. Not because she’s simply beautiful, I mean Bips is just as sexy, but there’s nothing quite as sexy and sensational and truly beautiful than an Indian woman in simple Indian clothes and blown out or even curly or wavy but basically not fussy hair. So so beautiful!

Sorry to continue blabbing, but at this is a forum where we can discuss such stuff I shall do so.
I sometimes think us Indian women look best in earthy tones..just natural looking things. I mean, don’t get me wrong we can rock many ‘non-indian’ clothes but really, we should have people design clothes that AREN’T rip offs from western designers, but take aspects of traditional Indian clothing and make flowy or not even flowy but just natural looking clothes. I mean, sorry to say it but many many Indian celebs don’t look as good as say the Hollywood ones in the same clothing..I’m sure a large part of it is to do with styling though so nevermind that point. But I mean, seriously, Indian women are gorgeous I almost feel like we should always be dressing like grecian goddesses! You know, the whole flowy look. Okay I’m rambling.

I agree with most of what you said, us indians just don’t look as good as the westerners in their evening dresses and mini skirts but then they can’t look as good as us in a saree either, so it cuts both ways and its a shame more bollywood celebs don’t play to their strengths. But I don’t think we should stick to just neutral tones, indian skintones can take colour beautifully, much better than paler ladies. In fact I think often times beiges, browns and blacks can look dull and dowdy on us, so I’d go for colour all the time. Mind you sush looks gorgeous, I actually think shes one of the most beautiful looking ladies from the bollywood bunch at the moment and this get up is really suiting her.

You said it, baby! More color please. I’ve seen women from Ghana who have almost jet black skin and wear beautiful bright clothes…I mean bright pinks, blues, yellow….They look wonderful like birds of paradise.

i totally and completely one hundred percent agree. i realy wish we would see more designs especially from indian designers of clothes inspired by our more traditional wear..i agree bright fun colors and earthy tones they all work on us baby!

I am a huge fan of sushmita. She not only looks good, but has a 10 on 10 personality. She is so gracious and welcoming to the people around her, no I am better than everyone else attitude. Love her. I am so touched by the way she is holding asha parekh’s hand.

Lookin radiant and truly beautiful. Give me this anyday before Bips!!! Someone commented earlier that Bips isn’t her real self – which speaks for over half of Bollywood. I think Kareena & Lara are the only ones who are ‘themselves’ clothes-wise..offscreen! Bipasha needs to get real! leave aside the ripped muscles

love this gal! – so much personality and chutzpah – helps that she is drop dead gorgoeus – yeah she doesn’t always get it right fashion wise but she doesn’t have that wannabe desperately trying to cling on to still being relevent vibe that I get from Bipasha.
