November 8th, 2009 at 1:15 pm . by PriyankaWe’ve seen this Monisha Jaising print in it’s dress avatar on Priyanka Chopra, Malaika Arora and Nawaz Modi Singhania. And even as a top on Shilpa Shetty. But the one we spotted on Ms. Menon sure is a first and might we add, our least favorite.
Maybe with a different set of pants, the tunic might’ve had a chance (and that’s a biiig maybe) but as things were, this outfit was a no-go for us.

Looks like my moms favorite Bombay Dying bed sheet. She has been blaming her maid for last 20 years for not putting the clothes pin when drying it. Kamala Bai, you are off the hook now !

usually monisha is a good designer. i might be wrong but wasn’t she the one who invented the ‘kurti’? i don’t like this print at all especially the shiny flowery part on the front.
and manish malhotra invented the sari

I do not like the cut, print or the satin borders on this outfit and the shoes….. oh Lord. I really like Monisha and she is on my list of designers to visit the next time I am in India. Does she have her own boutique in Mumbai? I know Samsara sells her line.
There is too much going on here. If she had a plain pair of pants, her shoes were mismatched anyway.
