HDIL Couture Week: Suneet Verma

Comment image 15

Day Three of Couture Week had Suneet Verma presenting his collection that consisted of saris, lehengas and dresses with heavy embroidery and floral work.

As the days go by, the bar is getting raised with every collection and hopefully we will not be disappointed with the rest of the designers.

  1. I am not a big fan of Bling on Sari…. Liked the pink dress(4th pic)…Wonder why the model was asked to wear pink stockings….. They look good… but still it gets too matchy…

  2. ewww! not liking any of the creations here – except for the last pic wid four models in it…i guess those 4 outfits make for good bridal wear…of course the guests wud all return home blind, having been bedazzled beyond tolerance. 😉

  3. I liked about 25% of the stuff Suneet showed – the white(r) ourfits, and some of the non-shaadi type sarees.

Then again, I spent most of my time staring at his hunky new boyfriend sitting in the first row. 🙂

  4. i love this collection and I love bling – when tastefully done.. so here’s my confusion – all these socialites and celebrities who attend these shows regularly and can afford the clothes, then end up dressing really strange – WHY? !!! ? lol

  5. lovely drama, the outfits worn by Jesse and Tapur looked fab on ramp. Laxmi’s saree was bold, worn over a churidar – net one. the gold outfits worn by the last four girls- Mridula and Sahay stood out..the others could carry it too well. Madhu looked nice, slightly rounded and nice….the ramp was difficult to walk, it was slippery

  6. The editing scissors should have come out for this collection. There is just too much stuff going on. And don’t even get me started on the styling.Whoever ruined that pink dress by pairing it with those stockings and that 80s hairdo needs to be fired. The first outfit just looks sad. The print works well on the sari in the 2nd picture though. That gold churidar in the 6th picture is the biggest faux pas in a collection that has quite a few solid turkeys. What is UP with the sari in the 7th pic?? And those fugly papier mache roses in her hair??
