Of Film Festivals
Monica attended the I View World Film Festival in Delhi recently sporting quite a few interesting looks. Given that am a big fan of Monica’s easy breezy boho style, I loved all of them.
But we have to still ask you folks, got a favorite?

My takeaways from these “outfits” is that for Monica Dogra, aboho style means:
(1) One needs to seemingly forget ones pants. (pics 1, 2 and 8)
(2) One needs to look homeless (pics 3, 4)
(3) One must overcompensate for the lack of pants by drowning oneself in fabric (pics 4, 6)
Ha-ha-ha. You are one funny lady. 😀
Asha, Spot On !!! +100000
This is neither easy breezy , or fashion or fashion forward. This is PLAIN ridiculous.
Lol.
She’s looking great in all the pics.
Most clothes are working only because she is lanky. Though it looks like a case of missing pants, I do like that first look. The last look though done by others, looks good.
Asha hats off for putting it so succinctly. well done. certainly better than the clothes.
4 and 7 are just sad.
I like 2 though, a lot.
Hard to pick but #7 is hands-down the worst for me…
I like her style. I am really digging 2nd, 6th and 8th look. I also like 3rd one to a varied degree.
I like all of them too.. im very fond of boho styles which show a much better sense of style than stylist-subscribed cookie-cutter looks
cant believe someone would call a look homeless 🙂 aside from being insensitive, it shows a complete lack of appreciation for originality
Lol. Sup, don’t get me wrong, relax a bit don’t become one of those who takes offense at the drop of a hat. Homeless does not mean homeless-homeless. I can see where you are coming from though. I was surprised that I even liked some of these looks I am usually not drawn to these type of outfits. Asha’s comments are mostly funny with that slight sarcastic undertone sometimes. While we may not see eye to eye on many of the looks, you are one of those who are level headed and I like reading your comments. Cheers! 😀
hey thanks for your comment.. and I feel the exact same way about you and Sapphire.. 🙂
agree to disagree at times, but totally look forward your comments..
You know I never EVER comment anywhere except this website, only because i feel the people here are generally sensible (read: not trolls)
and i don’t take offense at all, none of this is about me…
But yeah when people get oh so personal about celebs or dish out hate (not referring to the homeless comment, but you know the other kinds) on a Fashion website of all places, I just end up saying something… 🙂 its not to put down someone or police anyone really, coz that would be a waste of time..
But with so many negative comments out there for no reason at all, i feel it is sometimes out my control when i call it out.. so pardon me 🙂 and again, this is not about the comment above, and i didnt mean to sound uptight about the comment, sorry if it came off that way..
i just meant i wish boho styles were understood/appreciated more
