Wearing Am:Pm separates, Sridevi attended an event promoting her upcoming movie. Jewelry from Amrapali and a pair of neutral sandals rounded out the actor’s look. Though the color looked great on her, something about the separates just felt dated… And I just can’t put my finger on it!

  1. It is the styling that is dated. Those danglers with middle-parted “I am letting my hair be” definitely don’t come together with an otherwise soft coloured separates. Hair colour is too jarring. T-strap flats, a sleek ponytail with the lip colour on would have made the look work.

  2. She does look lovely …. although wish she’d picked less chunky sandals . Also love that wears her natural hair colour ( colours them so ) and not some bizarre blond like many celebs do

  4. I wish it was a chudidaar instead of a dress, but otherwise how beautiful does she look? That color looks great on her. It really feels like she walked out of the sets of Chandni.

    • this is about setting impossible standards for women. Chandni released in 1989, for god’s sake. To expect women to retain “the softness” of her appearance 30 years later is an injustice not only to the particular woman but to ALL women. get a grip.

      • Completely agree Senorita. Ageists flood pages of HHC everyday. It is ridiculous to constantly deride something as natural as growing up with comments like “she looks good because she is young”. I see people getting their “share” of glow on their faces when they enter 30s or even 40s. From this perspective, considering “youthful glow” or “fresh face” a compliment just because somebody is young is non-sense. It is again something extremely natural. Besides, we are here to comment on fashion than on anybody’s “young face”.

  5. The dress may not get the points, but she looks so relaxed, comfortable and easy here. She looks very beautiful, more so because she doesn’t look uptight.
She’s lovely. OMG, I think it’s the simplicity and ease that makes her very beautiful here.

  6. OMG, She looks fantastic! I personally like the easy, breezy outfit, with the exception of the shoes perhaps. Love the make-up too.

  7. It’s the shoes! Ruins the look in one felt swoop! I don’t know why it is so hard to get shoes right, given how much options we women have. I would have loved simple, silver strappy heels

  8. Look appears incomplete not dated… me thinks she looks lovely and natural . Of late the face looked like a mask and Sridevi like a mannequin. Good to have Chandni back!!

  9. In a way this weird dress help showcase Sridevi’s strong legs. See how toned and solid they look. All credit goes to her decades of movie dancing, a very good workout for calf muscles and foot!
She looks very comfortable in these pictures. Less is more!

  10. She looks lovely. It’s the length of the dress that makes the outfit look incomplete. Either the inner should have been long or both should have been long. It would have added a touch of casual elegance
