The last pic. Someone poke my eyes out.

Love the color of the sari but the see-through quality of the sari gives it a tacky vibe. The jewels are gorgeous though.

I like the colour of saree but then net sarees are not for me…this lady surely knows how to rock her outfits..though i would pair it with red clutch but this particular clutch is m not sure..

Love the ruby effect with grey but the net is making an always elegant Sri look tacky and out of shape.

Urggg Sridevi jinxed it! After the previous look in the saree which was so age appropriate, this look looks so tacky specially waist up. Plus she looks white washed with the make up too. It’s a pretty saree though.

Sridevi’s face is gorgeous and I don’t have a problem with net sarees…. but this must be one of the worst looks from her for multiple reasons…the sacred threads in her wrist….the tails in her blouse (whatever they are)…the overdone makeup….excessive display of cleavage.

This is what people mean when they say you need to dress age appropriately, I guess. No matter how hard she tries she is not going to be able to pull of a Shriya Saran drape. That last picture makes her look so very out of shape.

Sorry, she looks anything but out of shape. She needs lessons in age-appropriate dressing, though.

Wish I had never seen that last pic…

I love the ruby and grey combination but sorry net isn’t flattering on her. But hair and make-up is beautiful.

Sridevi can never look TACKY like some other senior actresses who get into a desperate half boob display to look cool. Net sarees are a tricky proposition but as the writer says, Sridevi makes it work.

Nothing looks good – the net saree, the tight blouse, the dark lip stick, hairstyle, makeup.
Though I dont like velvet the previous look was good.

Wow. Whoever said Madhuri should dress like Sridevi should probably take that statement ‘back'(pun intended).

      My thoughts exactly.

Tacky from top to bottom. Surprised HHC liked this.

That last pic is an all-out visual assault. Where are those tassels coming from? There doesn’t seem to be enough space on the blouse for a hook, let alone tassels.

A net saree, with THAT blouse on a woman with ample bosoms…. ugh, no.

  16. DramaMama at | | Reply

Nope, doesn’t work for me. This event has the dubious distinction of some of the worst red carpet looks ever. Even sure fire red carpet scorchers like Sri are getting it wrong here.

Nothing wrong with the saree that a less revealing blouse could not have fixed. The combination of the net saree and the low cut blouse is verrrry tacky.

The make up & accessories are wrong IMO . A nude lip and black/ neon ysl envelope clutch perhaps?!

She looks gorgeous. But wish she had a better makeup. And I don’t get one of the commentator’s view on sacred threads. It’s like a rosary, cross or any other religious things peeps tend to wear for whatever reasons. If they could only say such things about “other” religious inclined stuff, for sure it will burn this page down. Ha!
