In Sabyasachi

February 25th, 2012 at 6:14 pm . by Priyanka

It was Sabyasachi again for Sridevi; looks like the designer has found a fan in her! Gold jewelry and a Sabyasachi clutch completed the look.

We’d be remiss if we didn’t mention the shoes… The pumps just don’t work with that outfit. At all.

I like the pumps with the outfit…

  2. Vanaja says:

That is too much bling for my eyes to handle.

  3. ariel001 says:

This has to be the most blingiest anarkali ever! Love her earrings though.

  4. mesta says:

There’s too much orange and bling going on..somehow reminds me of vidya in her infamous orange anarkali at the film fare
however on the whole she looks extremely good and I’m guessing its her smile thats doing the job..usually she’s highly conscious of her smile

  5. madhu says:

why is everyone( well, most) so overdressed for a sangeet ?

  6. dn says:

This is a Sabya dress??? It doesn’t seem to have the Sabya class, seems like cheap bling. Sri and the dress are not meant to be.
    Pumps are actually okay.

  7. Dits says:

Don’t like the anarkali. Just waaay too much going on

  8. Winnie says:

    I think it’s gorgeous

  9. arpitha d says:

should have kept the jewellery simple with already so much gold going in the outfit, but she looks nice.

  10. kiwi says:

Garish, tacky, loud etc the pumps are the only decent thing about the outfit

  11. Slc says:

I am so glad she’s wearing those pumps in comparison to the overdone outfit. Are you sure this is a sabya?

  12. Sweta says:

Anybody got reminded of Chandni??? Mere Haathon Mein Nau Nau Choodiyaan Hain :)

  13. rina says:

dont like the earrings or the pumps but she still looks nice

  14. Trisha says:

Don’t think peep toes work with Indian wear – strappy sandals are a lot better – but in this case, the eyes rest on the calmness & neutrality of the peep toes after the hot color and bling overdose…

  15. Lolita says:

The shoes actually works with the outfit.

  16. Amit says:

OTT she should learn to edit those chandelier kida earrings r a bit too much same is true for pumps she is lookn old. eeeeeeeeeeks

  17. Aki says:

For such a loud outfit, she shud have toned down the jewelry ( good call with not wearing a necklace). Pretty color though.

  18. KT says:

loved the outfit!! might be over bling for some, but this is bling done right for me..
she looks beautiful, reminds me of the ‘ chandni’ sridevi!

  19. crab says:

I wish the bride had worn this. It’s perfect in a bridal trousseau.

  20. kk says:

would like to know the details about her daughters dresses

  21. Lalitha says:

A Sabya? Really?? Rather tacky looking….

  22. Summer says:

reminds me of her song from Lamhe where she dresses up for Anil Kapoor wearing an Orange lehanga (Meri Bindiya)….can’t believe that was 20 years ago!

  23. KJ says:

The tag has Honey Bhagnani’s last name misspelled.

  24. Food Poisoned Attorney says:

Sri’s daughters also looked stunning. Especially Jhanvi, please put up a pic of them. It does seem way too blingy but something about it works…maybe cause she looks like she is having fun…smile and all.

  25. Popely says:

    Ridiculous. Is this not funny?

  26. teesha says:

Its way too bling for a guest to wear it for the wedding sangeet.. Nevertheless she looks good.. Wish those nude pumps were replaced by a better pair..

  27. Raj says:

Very very beautifully dressed Sreedevi, just can’t get enough of her.Waiting for her new film ENGLISH VINGLISH.
