Skirt Style
Sridevi lent her support to stylist Eshaa Amiin at the latter’s collection preview at Aza on Tuesday and was seen wearing a white top with a striped Brunello Cucinelli skirt. An Hermès Kelly clutch and minimalist sandals finished out her look.
It was nice to see Ms. Kapoor in muted colors but am not sure if am liking the sleek middle parted hair do.
Did you?

Not liking any of this. The outfit, hair, make up – nothing works.
Not a good sighting at all – agree with all your comments
Its refreshing to see her bling-free, but not a fan of that skirt.
Bling free for a change but that hand on waist pose not going wel with her age! Some ladies can never learn to keep it classy! I always feel one should always emrace one’s age gracefully..be it when one turns 30 or hit 40 n so on! When the person tries too hard to blend in with the younger lot, it makes the person look even more mature than what he/she really is! Have observed even women in their 30’s (I am 31!) who love to wear teenager-ish clothes to look more young n trust me it doesn’t help at all. Instead, the result is reverse!
*embrace (typo err)
So true.
I am 30 but I love my ripped denims!! And now I’m feeling bad 🙁
I am 40 and I am still wear my ripped shorts and I think I look pretty good..modestly be damned. Telling you only in India once you are 30 you are over ..life is finished . Don’t wear this don’t do this …it’s freaking depressing. This gets me so riled up. It’s not about how sridevi is looking. Comments like how one shouldn’t wear this coz of age drives me crazy
Rant over
Ageism is an issue everywhere in the world. I’ve heard people comment on the “age appropriateness” of fashion in Europe too, especially in Europe as politically correct is not a thing here – kinda similar to India in that respect!
So when one is 30 , life is over is it???
You can’t wear anything fun right??
Sorry for a bad day.. 😉
Okk ladies, here I go..life is not finished at 30 or 40 or even at 60! N you all can wear a ripped jeans at 30 or even a 40. But then there should be some class n some sophistication. One can take a clue from Karishma Kapoor. She just rocks ripped jeans. N yes, one can flaunt one’s sexy side too. A well fitted maxi skirt or a maxi dress wid side slits would not only look sexy on 30 sumthing woman but classy too than a mini-flippy skirt. One can opt for off-shoulder flowing dresses which would surely win over grapic/frilly teen tops n dresses. Wear a wide-legged pants with crop tops to flaunt the waist or denim-shirt dress to show-off some legs…so many options to choose from! So the crux is, life is never over at any point of age but one must learn to evolve n embrace one’s age gracefully! Hope now I am able to put forth my point clearly. 🙂
P.S- Sonam, Dia n Karishma are my hot favs. Among fashion bloggers, love Payal n Priyanka for their fuss-free clean n classy style! Hope this will give you ladies an idea about my taste!
Actually when you put it like, I do agree with you.
And no I didn’t have a bad day ?
Just that I feel life is too short ..one day you are 30 the next day you are in your 60 s . So one should have fun and enjoy dressing up without society pressure of what’s acceptable and what’s not. That’s all
Cheers ?
Much cheers n love!
Along with the hand on the hip pose now the leg showing pic also added. This woman is such a try hard lol.
She looks super classy…minus all the bling. Loving the middle parted sleek hair. She is looking fabulous.
I love it. Not finding it age inappropriate at all!
I just do not like the outfit. Usually her hair and makeup is perfect, not this time, especially the razor straight hair, it really ages her.
I think she looks elegant. Though I agree I am on the fence with the hair too. Maybe a braid would have been better.
Not liking the middle parted flat hair at all on her. Kudos for not being miss chamko (blingy) though.
I think she is looking great and nothing about her outfit or pose is age inappropriate.
While she looks bling-free and that’s a breath of fresh air in itself, this hair does not suit her. Plus the skirt looks super limp on her, kind of like a lungi.
That is a neat style. Like.
She looks good. This is different from her usual styling. Yeah, the hair could have been better, side parting would have worked well.
