Sophie came out looking nice even after going the matchy matchy way. Sonakshi’s saree is badly draped but in all other aspects, she does look lovely.

Exactly my thoughts…how bad the saree was draped on Sonakshi!! Otherwise she looks lovely

The difference a drape can make ! Sometimes when the right person wears a crappy sari, they look better than a person wrongly wearing a beautiful saree.

“because we know we would probably never look as good as Sophie. ”

if you call this “looking good” …

the less said about zarine the better.

sonakshi is so pretty. god knows when her stylist will elarn to drape a sari. idiotic.

I think Zarine looks lovely as well. Love the blue color on her.

Didn’t quite believe what you guys said- let me paraphrase, Sophie looks good?! C’mon give me a break!! That’s one tacky saree I’ve seen in ages….God knows what’s wrong with people’s taste!!
On the other hand…loved Sonakshi’s saree…elegant and tasteful…she looks gorgeous…totally in love with her beautiful face!! :)

We were talking about the ability to wear/drape/handle/carry-off a net sari. And how one looks in a net sari. Not the sari itself.

You realise that Sohpie’s net is not starched giving it more direction and coupled with the work weight. Sonakshis sari is semi starched and all she could have done better was wear the pallu down x

Exactly! Sophie’s sari is cringe-worthy! No amount of draping/styling can make THAT work!

Sophie totally makes this work. And the sari is perfectly draped. Sonakshi could have looked so good but that sari is draped so badly that i can’t get past that! Not liking Zarine’s sari

i think the basic difference between Sophie’s drape and Sonakshi’s is in the petticoat/underskirt. Sophie’s clearly wearing a fishtail petticoat or similar, while Sonakshi’s (as clearly!) wearing a regular straight-cut. Thin/gauzy sarees can’t be worn with the same underclothing as heavy Kanjeevarams or other traditional weaves.

Love Sonakshi’s saree except hw it is draped , also a piece (any , earring , bracelet, ring ) of jewellery wld look good , given its a wedding

Sonakshi is a big girl so draping a saree well is very important otherwise the hips look quite wide whereas Sophie’s net saree has perfect pleating and she carries it extremely well!

Sophie looks adorable… got the saree drape down perfect! Although it the saree is too pink for my tastes…she looks like a pretty Indian barbie!

Why am i getting masculine vibes from Sophie in this pic? Everyone else are saying saree draping/wearing is so right, but for me its so so masculine given that blouse….
