I love to wear oversized shirts all the time….sonam rocks the look… this shows that she is diligently following fashion and is doing a superb job at it… i still feel her leggings could have been better…. also wanted to mention that she has a stylist but nonetheless carries a very good aesthetic sense of her own

Leggings were not such a good idea. I hate it when girls substitute it for pants. A pair of skinny jeans would have suited her better. And the shoes? WTH?

@pdabre: she has a stylist? who? how do you know? i want to know who her stylist is!!

    I love her shades.

She looks great, and I agree, the only time monochrome is acceptable is whith black, or black and white :)
love the nude oxfords, and I say the leggings are acceptable…I don’t really like the jewlery though, it doesn’t really gel with the rest of the look
AND I feel like I should know what those sunglesses are…they remind me of Dior but you never know with Sonam
HA! I KNEW she had a stylist- but I have to say, she still carries herself very awkardly (i.e. she’s lacking a lot of grace)
    with time, with time

I don’t really like the look, I get the idea but it hasn’t been executed in a good way……..overall it looks very messy!

Its a very pretty and chic style. Actually I think the beige shoes give an interesting contrast to the black/white. Oh, and does Sonam wear and pair the BESTTTT accessories with every single outfit or what?! Seriously she’s very interesting off-screen (and on it too – saawariya and d6 –woot!)

and thats what im wearing to the party next week!
    lorrrrve the look!

It’s funny because we expect Sonam to be different each time, and she takes it to greater heights with every appearance. Love the look on her, especially the shades. Can someone give her a Vogue cover? It’s high time!

this is reallyyyy amazing! how does she do it?? who woulda thought even over sized shirts could look so good?!
where are her glasses from? they’re so cool!

love love love her………here as well!!yep nebody else in dose shoes wd hv lookd ridiculous bt den she isnt jus abt nebody!!sure she works the casual, oversized button-down shirt look excellently!!

Dont like the overdone look. It looks like she wants to appear as if she’s just put it altogether at the last minute but it looks like shes taken hours to put the look together. The chunky mismatched jewellery, the loose wasitcoat and shirt gives off vibes that the look was MEANT to be boho chic but she hasnt carried it off well. The Chanel glasses dont look right on her either. On a positive note, i do love the shoes :)

LOVEEE it! Casual Chic at its best. Sonam nails the look!

Sonam has a stylist. As far as i know, she didnt??

  18. hmm at | | Reply

Not as much a fan of the look because of the see through leggings – otherwise it’s a pretty normal oversized shirt+legging combo+hobo, no? If I can be honest, I think most Sonam coverage is a bit biased ;l-)) I like some of her other choices, more unique than the rest, but not everything she wears is completely outstanding.. just an opinion! Kudos to her for trying something different from the rest though.

I couldn’t recognize her the first time I saw. When I realized that it was Sonam,I couldn’t help but appreciate her fashion sense.Besides looking gorgeous on magazine covers in designer wear, she looks stunning even in a simple white shirt.Love her for taking risks.

she lokos lyk rocker chick but not reli …reminds me of mischa barton….but i think she shud hav worn beter legging or even skinny jeans…

    FABULOUS! love, love, LOVE it!

  22. karishma g at | | Reply

i generally hate leggings with a passion but she looks allright in them.

  23. Clio at | | Reply

Very cute look, but the shoes were hideous with the b/w outfit. Jeans would have been fine, but I still would have hated the choice of shoes, only a bit less than with leggings!

  24. Tina at | | Reply

I agree, the shoes not so fab, but sonam has an uncanny way of pulling these looks off! she looks great! young and chic

  25. Carol at | | Reply

That is a terrible look even if it is Sonam wearing the outfit. Leggings are just bad and those shoes and vest are ugly. Are we going back to the tacky 80s?

If a less admired (for style) person had worn this outfit, that person would be laughed at on this site.

Sonam can make even this shirt look wow!
i jus love her sense of style!

I agree kunklebunkle, I am REALLY not liking this leggings-instead-of-pants trend.

  29. Sonia99 at | | Reply

This is a very Gap-type look. Sonam is skinny and tall so looks good in this outfit. Cannot imagine it working on any other body type.

She looks great. Even if she has a stylist, he/she would only work on her when she’s attending premieres or something right? The casual look seems to be her own.

Sunglasses and bag are both chanel…loveeee it

I think she looks good from the waist up. Below that its all going downhill.

  33. fashionista at | | Reply

she only has a stylist for big events… read it in an interview..

  34. madhu at | | Reply

i guess skinny jeans might have looked better but still she looks great

I have that bag…its the Classic Chanel Bag (not flap but think it is called Large Sac). Dont like her look from waist down but the top is ok

  39. deewani at | | Reply

why would she wear glasses when its dark… that to me speaks ” trying too hard to impress”… loose the glasses and the look would have been great

  40. amna at | | Reply

what she size is she? O-O

  41. FPDP at | | Reply

@deewani: dude it’s possible she didn’t put make-up tthat will hide her dark circles so the shades. i think that’s why a lot of times celebs wear shades indoors.

  42. Keya at | | Reply

she is very well put togather the upper half . but I hate the leggins they are not really opaque.. and those ankle boots ew..

  43. SonaSpice at | | Reply

As far as I know, Sona has never mentioned that she has a stylist, she probably gets help from her friends and sister? Most of it is her own doing.

    Her glasses are Chanel.

not to toot a horn…but looooove this girl and eveything she does. this look is timeless, classic, always works for the skinny tall body type…yet it’s so now and boho chic…i think ali mcgraw was rocking it in the 60s and 70s!! love the bangles with the look…think it gives the appropriate pop of color…
