In Vivienne Westwood Red Label
July 4th, 2010 at 3:11 pm . by PayalIt was a Vivienne Westwood Red Label pink polka-dot dress for Ms. Kapoor at the music launch of Aisha. She paired her dress with a white clutch and beige ankle-strap sandals. Normally, I don’t care for ankle-sandals much but in this case they work perfect.
Of the three versions, Sonam’s version is the best by far. Loves it.
P.S. If you’ve been following us on Twitter, you’ve probably already noticed how we are trying to get Sonam to wear a Prabal Gurung for the premiere. ;) Here’s hoping it really does happen.

Prabal Gurung would be an awesome choice.
This dress is whimsical because of the polka and the colour but it’s not completely out there and I don’t like the material so it’s an almost for me. I love her shoes!
Am the opposite I liked the dress but hated her shoes. She has big feet and needs to wear shoes that hide that. Not flattering on her.
Exactly what i thought – the shoes are not quite right for a quirky dress – dont think Vivienne Westwood would approve.
This dress is ill fitting on Sonam and makes her hips look bigger than normal. I love her hair but not the dress which to be honest is ugly and looks like a Project Runway reject. The shoes are just blah.

Though I have to say the dress color suits her skin tone.
Also the dress needs some ironing and a good one colored undergarment (It looks like the top half of the dress is having a different colored under garment and the rest down half another color like black).

And you have a keen eye. The bottom half does seem to have a blacking inskirt kinda thing.
And though it doesnt look indecent in the pictures, HOW LOW is the neck. Feels precariously dangerous…

Umm… due to my very limited exposure to western wear… (jeans & T Shirt)…I really and honestly want to know how these kind of dresses are held up….Ii feel as if it’ll fall off any moment…. please tell me…..
u wear the dress, breathe in…..and thats it…dont breathe out..the dress wont fall off ;) hehe kidding..its tighter in the bust area so that it can fit properly n *hopefully* not fall off :)

Looks a bit ill fitted
she looks gorgeous as usual….can carry off pretty much any look with ease….jus saw IHLS and i loved the way she was styled in it…..she looked near-perfect in every frame….
i have loved all of sonam’s ihls promo looks…but this one leaves me slightly underwhelmed…i think its the material of the dress or bad choice of innerwear or maybe poor lighting…n the shoes are also rather meh….
but neck up girl does look pretty…she should do oink more often :)

Awww…this is not fair!! She wears such amazing clothes ALL THE TIME. I’m so jealous. And what a face. And thank god she’s finally got a hit in her kitty. :)
The dress length is really awkward on her and I dont like the shoes…we’ve honestly seen her do soo much better…this was plain meh compared to those….I guess shes saving the better for the premiere…

I’m sorry, but Sonam just doesn’t work this look for me. Vivienne is all about us curvy girls, and this is one instance where a ‘fashion’ figure just doesn’t do it justice. Its just a bit blah without the curves to fill it out in all the right places. ;)

Like everything about the look is wrong, Sonal looks her usual beautiful though. But the dress and the shoes are totally bad. I feel, however tall you are, you’ve got to wear heels to look good.
