Loved it !! WANT THE SAREE NOW!!

My only gripe..wish she had picked the runway blouse with this saree…the stunning earrings would have popped up better with a plain blouse !!

i think the blouse looks very appropriate … as if shez wearing a t-shirt … it’s such a fun look … doesn’t look like shez wearing a sari at all !!

    loved the print…….the styling….everything

    what this ugly outfit..?/

If you look at the sari without reading the pac-man inspiration, then it looks like a bad bad printed sari.
But for the love of pac-man I like it ;)

Love the print of the saree and the cut of the blouse. Very cute!

A little iffy about the fit of the blouse. A super fun print nonetheless!

Agree completely..saree looks pretty cheap ..whats with the over gelled /oily mess of hair??? Too much parachute coconut oil ??

      couldn’t agree more with you

    3. VG at | | Reply

      Cant agree with you more.

Such a fun and pretty saree. Love the colors. My gripe is the blouse, doesn’t look right. Sonam looks great.

Agree! That mismatched ’blouse’ is more like an ill-fitting knit tee. And the haath-phool completely unnecessary in this ensemble. Cute earrings though..

Adorable!! Loved pac-man and played this game alot when I was a child…feeling senti!

  14. Aparna Raman at | | Reply

Seriously what is there in this saree.. other than the fact its Pac-Man. It hurts my eyes. Its too busy and the blouse is just out of the place. Some times I dont know if i am reading the right blog. :)

    love it! she looks awesome!

thats a supremely idiotic outfit……..just coz its sonam doesn’t make it stylish …

This is so super cute ! Love it. Wish the blouse was more fitted and the saree covered the chest properly. Love the quirkiness anyways.

      +1.. Love it

Its a disaster outfit for me…The combination of printed sari and printed blouse is too messy .. But Sonam is looking beautiful as always ;)

  19. SS at | | Reply

the blouse doesnt fit well. it looks like a t shirt.

  20. aman at | | Reply

this is comedy…. only sonam can pull this look off and actually make it look cool! haha love her braveness !

  21. PrincessRuchi at | | Reply

    Can she do ANY WRONG?

  22. Aditi at | | Reply

Love the hair. Sonam is the only person I can think of that could pull this off. <3 her

  23. LoveSuhanaa at | | Reply

WHo knew a saree could be this playful! Major love! Also Sonam carries it well!

  24. missplaced at | | Reply

loveeee the saree…. like someone has mentioned already, not feeling the blouse and it certainly has fit issues (is it a knit blouse wid a rib neck and sleeve cuff??)… though sonam’s vibrant smile makes everything look just perfect!!!

  25. Honey at | | Reply

I wish she’d picked a plainer blouse to go with the sari, but all in all, this is so much fun! LOVE the earrings!

  26. PC at | | Reply

Love the Saree…the blouse not so much! Sonam looks really good!

  27. Prithi at | | Reply

Saree & blouse are great – but not together.

  28. Le Anne at | | Reply

    She’s being swallowed! Help! :-p
Ok jokes apart love the sari and earrings, if only she hadn’t over done it with that blouse….

  29. Megha at | | Reply

Although I don’t quite get the combination of the blouse and the sari, I must say Sonam does pull it off ! love her hair-do !

She looks like a rural Indian sweeper

    1. HHC Fan at | | Reply

and that is a bad thing? rural indian sweeper’s style is not style? only our elite choices is the epitome of style? i think we need to broaden our mind when it comes to style.

  31. Iffy at | | Reply

That’s one ugly sari! Weird! I used to like choices once upon a time though…lately it’s all just predictable.

  32. Saya at | | Reply

I like the blouse. Sari seems tacky with all that print. Maybe for us from Pokemon era, this pac-man fails to arouse any interest/sentiment.;)

  33. kanika at | | Reply

The sari and blouse combo doesnt work. She should have chosen a plain blouse – the gota border is completely missed against this blouse. I dont mind the fit of the blouse so much…or maybe, it’s because I can’t see past the excessive print!

What a kaamwali bai look! This reminds me of Masaba. Infact Miss gupta had once stated in her interview that she draws inspiration from her kaamwali bai’s dressing. So true!!!

    1. angl at | | Reply

Why degrade kaam wali’s style? Just because they are of a lower social status, doesn’t mean we need to insult their look. How would you feel, if someone was to say “what a (insert your profession here) look” in a rude manner?

      1. anon at | | Reply

Sorry, I didnot mean to degrade anyone. On second thoughts, my kaamwali bai looks more stylish with her color block saris paired with green chuda and big red kumkum ;)

  35. HHC Fan at | | Reply

My initial reaction was it looked tacky until I saw the pac man prints! Then it was just fun! Sonam looks lovely as always!

  36. Kay at | | Reply

    Thats one ugly sari!!

  37. Mumbadiva at | | Reply

Wowwee! Fun & spunky look ! Hope no one else attempts the same look…I think this look is just made for Sonam!

  38. Ambereen at | | Reply

So fun and cute! Not many could wear this well. She does!

  39. KJ at | | Reply

Not working. The make up’s off and too much going on in the prints. The blouse should’ve been solid color and saree properly draped – the pleats are messy and boob show isn’t pleasing to the eyes.

  40. Sunanda at | | Reply

I love , love, love Pacman, but this is a match-much. Plus, badly oily looking hair.

  41. Ahot at | | Reply

I like the look, just that the hairdo even though gorgeous is too much ladylike for this fun look. a simple dutt or maybe simple wavy hair would have been better imho.

  42. The Mad Momma at | | Reply

i love how much FUN she has. How many people can do that? They’re all starving themselves into skin show and this woman just mixes it all up. She may be no actress, but fashionista and experimenter she is. I love the saree although she’s worn it poorly and I think her hair is too oily looking.

  43. Food Poisoned Attorney at | | Reply

Fun sari for an event I guess but wouldn’t wear it otherwise!!!
