Styled by Jayati Bose, Sonam features in an editorial in this month’s Filmfare magazine. The fashion ante has really been upped by Filmfare. We like!

  1. kool pics but im just tired of seeing these faguni peacocks every friggin where!! the ones in the middle look trying too hard. high fashion sometimes can be just a white tank top n rugged jeans or something not seen b4. for instance, i quite liked kangna’s recent cover on cine fashion or even the same issue of filmfare.

  4. Love this entire spread and more so because of the eclectic choice of the outfits on Sonam…I’m a huge fan of Morphe and look forward to every collection of theirs..

Don’t u think in the last set of pictures ,with the fringed hairline and a little puffed lips(they do seem little puffed) and that fabulous jaw…she looks a tad like Chanel Iman ??

  5. She looks cool and all, but my eyes keep drawing back to the fact that “lightning” has been misspelled both times (page 1 and 6)

Airbrush your models, sure, but proof your copy too!

  6. I don’t want to be mean and trite but, I must: this looks stupid. The stylist is trying waaaaay too hard and it shows. Effortless style is so much nicer than wearing a candy dish on one’s head whilst smiling REALLY hard.

  7. P&P, I truly hope you guys would stop featuring the magazine covers, mostly because they dont reflect the person’s fashion choices….and secondly because it is irritating to see everything so perfect because of photoshop. And the celebrities dont even look like themselves…

    • Why do celebrities have to look like themselves? Especially actors. They are supposed to be unrecognizable. Why do you need to know who she is? Either you like the photos or you don’t. It’s just a fashion shoot.

  8. I agree with Rezia in parts – it just tries too hard! the look is more like something students at a fashion school would attempt. Styling doesnt have to be gimmicky to be dramatic and eye-catching. The best shoots are the ones that look effortless, not trying-so-hard.

  10. lol at the spelling mistakes…but um, so ok, good shoot…but was there a story too?

how is sonam able to talk about something new about her life in every photoshoot she does?

i’m kind of getting bored seeing her on every magazine cover…i wish she would do more of what she came to Bwood to do…aka act.

  11. @Belle I think we see more of her because her scans are always available a few days after a mag comes out. All the actresses do gazallions of shoots all throughout the year!
