In Monique Lhuillier

Sonam attended the 2016 L’Oréal Women Of Worth Awards wearing a Monique Lhuillier strapless gown and cape. The black and white floral print separates was paired with jewellery from Amrapali, a black Judith Leiber (see here) and minimalist ankle-strap sandals.

Given that the gown and the cape had enough volume to it, wearing the two with a sleek do helped balance it out. She looked good!

  1. Make-up issues, but not as disastrous. Love the hair. Wish she had ditched the cape/jacket cos the gown/dress is quite beautiful. My favorite… there are pockets!

  2. Not surprised you found this look also, “good”! Sonam as usual is over made-up and this time she is featuring the new upholstery collection – coming soon to a couch near you!

  3. This would have looked a lot better without the cape
Too much volume and no shape but then it’s sonam . She would throw in the kitchen sink if she could
Loreal have a problem with their makeup – it’s generally too heavy handed

  4. while I appreciate the fact that she embraces volume and doesn’t feel the need to show off her curves on every occasion, I find this overwhelming even Sonam’s statuesque frame.

  5. Only Sonam is bright enough to wear a voluminous dress and then cross legs to look her slimmest! Seems like a moot point to me. And no, I dont think she looked good. The makeup and hair are too blah!

  6. I wonder if this would look slightly better without the cape. As is, it is too overwhelming and voluminous. Don’t like it at all.

  7. Her face doesn’t match her neck but I don’t think she intentionally does that. Maybe her foundation has SPF in it?
I know she knows this is a problem. Surely her stylists would not let her do it over and over again.
