I know Sonam’s looks (particularly at Cannes) can be quite divisive, but I think she looks fabulous here. Stylish but not overkilling it, super strong but not so edgy she’s falling off the side. I think this is truer to her aesthetic which shows in her confidence.

Having seen 2 of Vidya’s looks now though, sort of think the Vidya+Sabya team may leave all else in the dust.

She looks gorgeous!!! But I am sorry I don’t like those earrings, they look ridiculous to me…I guess only she could carry em off.

Simple just about sums it up and for me simple in this case = lackluster, ho hum, meh. She’s given some nice looks at events in India – dunno why she doesn’t get it right on the global platform. Methinks she tries too hard to create an impression and in the attempt goes to two extremes – either it’s OTT, or just meh.

You know i really want to like her and sincerely think that she is extremely beautiful but somehow she always comes across as trying too hard. This outfit for instance is a classic example of trying to come off as casual chic but instead communicating how over thought each of its elements are. She looks nice, as always, but just being able to afford a lot of expensive clothes is unfortunately not necessarily a sign of of being stylish. And this, high on expense as it is, simply does not look stylish.

Love it! Simple yet dramatic … The sari looks lovely and edgy at the same time the colors tone it down. The earrings are to die for – simply amazing!

Love it, but what occasion was it for? She should have saved it for the red carpet.

Her look at Cannes 2011 in the gaultier gown.. The look was so well put together that she’s gonna have to try a lot harder to get the same jaw dropping reaction from us again!

The makeup always always alwayss lets her down…she looks so washed out and err..grey…!

Outfit, jewellery and hair and bang on!

Sonam is someone who can definitely pull off an edgy look like this and her persona often salvages even mediocre looks but I don’t think she needs to go this route all the time. I prefer Freida’s effortlessly chic look at the same event and would like Sonam to take things down a notch sometimes.

Chic, playful, and appropriate for an interview/photocall situation. She’s off to a great start!

I am on the fence. I feel she this look could have been fiercer but I don’t know how. And I don’t like those earrings.
