Sonam Kapoor in Harpers Bazaar

Unlike her last spread for Hi Blitz which focused on Louis Vuitton, this spread has Sonam wearing a lot of Cartier jewels and accessories in addition to wearing clothes by Pucci, LV and Marc Jacobs.

I have a new fashion icon! I LOVE the first picture. It’s super fierce. Also the off-white blazer is sublime. I’ve become such a fan of hers now. She’s like a chameleon in the way she pulls off all these really cool looks.

loved it … shes is flawless and gorge … i shoild stop watching this blog … i hate to say this … but last week end i was in paris and only watching whos carrying what on the streets and malls .. but to my suprise i havnt seen those number of designer stuff in my life .. i was in new york i always thought its the high fashioned city but paris really stands for being called the fashion capital in the world … it was an amzing feeling of holding all the tods and jimmy choo cluchtes in real at the store … and guys .. bottega venneta clutches looks so elegant in real .. gawd why dont theh hav some thing this sorta for men … tooo :( :( sob sob :( :(
she looks great, love Emilio Pucci on her better than on the model. her photoshoots are unique!
what i like about her is that in no two pictures does her face look the same. unlike shilpa or priyanka. this is a great shoot. i can’t find anything particular that i like about them, but just the overall look of each photograph is very interesting. except the one in which she looks like she’s wearing her dad’s shoes.

Methinks, the pic with the much-discussed “dad’s shoes” could actually be a sly tribute to Anil Kapoor’s Mr. India getup. Quite far fetched I know, but still . . . :p
Also, vis-a-vis someone’s question about why so many fashion mags constantly feature her, i think it could be because she has both the “supermodel” factor and the brand recognition of a Bollywood star, which makes her both artistically and commercially viable for fashion magazines.

Though I’d be the first to admit that we see Sonam alot, at least
1) She’d actually be a viable and successful model- really, we all know that modeling is where it’s at for her- and
2) unlike the one look pseudo-models a la Kareena and Co., she actually looks DIFFERENT in each shot!
That said, I am loving that first photo. It’s odd, it’s creepy, but I keep staring at it! And the suit shot- I’m laughing because it’s screaming Anil from the fab coif to the shoes. Love it!

Smart Photoshoot, she looks lovely in photoshoots but otherwise in public appearences, dosen’t do any wonders.
May be international makeup artist do that on her….
she never fails to wow me! truely versatile..put her in vintage or punk or indian or boho or anything..she spruces it all up with her individual style and charm…absolutely gorgeous..wat a star :) and man does she photograph well!!!
Sonam Kapoor is incredible..I wonder how she manages to look different in each photoshoot..She is the true Indian Fashion icon..Just look at her expressions in each photo..I have nothing else to say but this girl is just a WOW……..
Sonam is seriously Bollywod’s ONLY!!! fashionista. She has a flawless personal style and can totally rock any kind of a photoshoot…if her bollywood career doesnt work out she can make her fortune styling people like vidya balan, rani mukherji and gul panag.

Why is everyone so quick to write Sonam’s Bollywood career so early though? Every now and then I see these comments and it makes me mad. She’s only two films old. She was fabulous in Delhi 6 and not too bad in Saawariya. Abhishek made it after 14 flops! I’m sure Sonam will be fine :)

The way she moves from a simple salwar kameez girl to this,it makes me think may be someone should do a remake of ‘Devil wears Prada’ casting Sonam in the lead.
Then we can see her in 50 different outfits,shoes and bags in one movie.

About the Rekha reference,I am not sure about that but she reminds me of a lot of models/actresses from late 80′s and early 90′s,esp Anuradha Patel or Kittu Gidwani – Classy!
Wow!!She is a great model. Unlike Ash who used to be a good model, but never faired in acting skills, she does have a chance at acting. So what if the first two films were a flop, she was noticed and she does have the potential.

gota give it to sonam…she definitely is the best dressed young celebrity in inida at the moment and man she photographs well.
she’s cool. however, all her photos are taken from the same angle i.e. the left side of her face. well, in this photo shoot anyway. not sure of others. strange that. a model would work any angle. yeah she does def look like deepika padukone (they shd shoot together!). and she reminds me of simi garewal, esp. in the light-coloured suit!
I don’t like the pic with the pucci top… it looks a bit dated (2000-2003 ish)
but everything else.. PERFECT!
