  1. It is very Aishwarya Rai – the make up, the pout , the tilt / angle of the head and of course the hair. At first glance i thought it was ARB.

  2. Sonam does the retro look very well, but now I can’t think of her in any other way! How about a 2014 look for a change Sonam?

  3. I actually like it – experimenting with different makeup is good ! She does do Retro well like somebody me said. Love that gown – I was so bored of Chevrons !

  4. If I hadnt read that it was sonam, I almost thought it was Ileana DCruz. The cover is horrible..the outfit is pretty but the styling is all wrong.
P&P, just out of curiosity have you guys ever been approached to be a stylist for an actor. Considering your blog is so popular that would seem like an obvious next step.

    • true! she asks others too dress their age and she always dresses like retro middle age women. I guess if one wants to channel fashionista one has to wear those looks… old hope not!

    • Agreed. I dislike her sense of style. I rather prefer a someone who is not remotely into fashion but dresses comfortably over sonam who is constantly trying to flaunt her fashionista image through these bored to death done retro looks .

  6. Love the cover. It is minimalist approach and they seem to have used natural light sources. I don’t see any elements of photo-shopping in the image but I guess the make-up could have been toned down a bit. Any idea who is the photographer ? Love the white stripes, it is a real wise use of space to match with the dress πŸ™‚

  7. Probably a minority (as usual), but I like this look. She looks different with the hair and make-up…channeling a Brigitte Bardot theme? Oh, the dress is cute too.

  8. Whilst I umderstand if people do not lile the cover very much, I think its a little unfair to simply say you hate sonams personal style. On any other post this opinion is completely fine but stating that in relation to a photoshoot she has done for the cover of a magazine is unfair. Whether it be the photo shopping, makeup, hair, outfit or just thw general aesthetic of the shoot, I think its wrong to blame sonam’s personal style as this is the creation of a team of people. And yes whilst I’m sure the actress or model in any shoot has some say when working with such a big magazine I doubt thw bazaar team just quietly listened and followed what she said. So by all means aay that you jate her style on other posts just give it a rest here. Anyhow in my opinion im not blown away by this cover but I think its nice there are somethings I wish were different but I dont mind it.

  9. That dress is hideous. Reminds me of something from the sale rack placed outside a run down mall. Eww.

Sonam looks nice. I’ve seen better styling on her though.

  10. Ordinarily, I would be all supportive of most of what Sonam wears. This look, I don’t get. Her makeup is almost messy. Not quite for me.

Forget loving, not even slightly liking this look. Wish this girl would start dressing her age. I’m not a Sonam Kapoor nor do I think she’s a fashionista but this time I am disappointed with her. This is unforgivable.
