Wearing head-to-toe Dolce & Gabbana, Sonam attended an event to promote her upcoming movie. The print-on-print, embellished pumps and gold jewelry was Italian excess done just the right way, and I loved it! Sonam looked good.

  1. My eyes…My eyes are bleeding with all the jarring prints and colors. This is one experiment gone wrong. Earrings and shoes dont help either.

  4. shes losing it these days… the prints could of work but for some reasons visually the fabric pieces doesnt belong next to eachother. her lip color should of been substitute g o r those shoes color and vice versa. The skirt fabric color should of been her shirt color and vice versa

  5. Jarring and gaudy… not feeling the gold earrings at all. I feel like this look is aging her immensely, she should just keep it simple sometimes.

  6. what’s there to love about this look…there are so many clashing elements that don’t gel well together…neck up she looks like a punjabi kudi with the hair and jhumkis and unfortunately ruins this look with excessive makeup….neck down she does not manage to wow us with the combination of prints paired with those cute but unsynchronized shoes…

  7. Why the Frida Kahlo-esque makeup? Not that I have anything against Frida Kahlo, but to reference her inadvertently is surely not what Sonam is trying for here. I wish she picked up Sophia Loren’s look here-all big hair and sultry eyes. It would have made this look pop out. I mean, if you want to wear floral prints and flashy gold hoop earrings and bracelets-go all out, you know? why be half assed with the prim and proper hairstyle and shoes.

  8. Love love love this looks. She’s nailed the whole Southern Italian vibe that the last few DnG collections have had. And those baroque earrings with this look are perfect.

  9. Those earrings are so gaudy/cheap looking. The clothes & accessories all clash in a bad way. Why can’t her stylist ever get the make up right on her? Not once have a seen her have good make up on.

  10. Ghastly makeup! Seems like she uses Estee Lauder now? Or if its Mac its not her matched shade or something is offfff…oh, and why those earrings? Tacky at best! Wish she had some emerald drop/stud earrings instead…

  11. Love this look! Print-on-print can be tricky to get right, and can go wrong easily and hurt one’s eyes, but the simple hair, makeup and shoes help this look elevate to the level that says “bellisimo darling!”

  12. The earrings and bangles are killing the look .. litreally !!!
the print on print is a bit much but could be handled. The shoes are cute.. the lip color is not working…Overall – Not for me :((

  14. I love this look because it looks good on her. Personally, I would never dress like that…but it looks good on her! Except the make-up. Can she go a bit less with the foundation? Or are these just bad lighting for this make-up?

  15. Sonam,

Look in the mirror after you put on foundation. If your face looks pink and your neck looks brown- something is wrong! God, she ruins everything with this tacky makeup binge she’s on.
