Do we have to add that both left us green with envy? (Because, I would love to have Sonam’s wardrobe and Mehr’s man! :P)

BOTH women are gorgeous… Mehr is so much older than Sonam, so she gets high marks for maintenance.
Every pic of Sonam simply reiterates Sanjay Leela’s Bhansali’s words so strongly…Sonam truly has a “timeless elegance” kind of look. LOVE her CINE shots.

i have to disagree with anu* and sanjay leela bhansali: i don’t think sonam is a personification of “timeless elegance”. she is very much the it girl right now, but i can see her it-ness being shortlived. just my opinion.
about the dresses. they look a bit like nighties to me. sonam’s color is prettier than mehr’s, but again, the dress itself is nothign to go gaga over. pretty average, but veering towards below average (because of the nightie factor).
The cut of the dress is so flattering. A deep V and a cinched waist are doing wonders for Mehr.
I love the red of Sonam’s hair against the green of the dress.
Sonam is just amazing. She could do a million mag spreads and I would never get tired of her.
I am not a huge fan of this dress but like it better on Mehr since it is not a photoshoot. Sonam looks average in the shoot. She has done better:D

I agree with peachbellini and nick. Sonam is begining to look more like a model, than an actress, It would be a good idea if she would stop being the “it” cover girl and concentrate on her acting career.

DONT GET ME WRONG, SHE IS DEFINITELY A GOOD LOOKING WOMAN, BUT FOR BEING A FORMER MODEL, SHE IS ALWAYS SO BLAH LOOKING- POOR MAKEUP, HER HAIR IS HARDLY EVER DONE, POOR POSTURE. i don’t think much of sonam either. she wears great clothes. that’s about it. mehr is in another class altogether.
Mehr is such a beautiful woman. But her hair looks frizzy and not red carpet worthy at every event. For lunches and other casual parties its ok, but definitely not at award shows.
How old is Sonam, 23? 24 maybe? and Mehr is 39 going to be 40 this year….and she pulls it off fabulously. She always had style that girl and Sonam is the “IT ” girl, and loves clothes…if she has her Dad’s genes she will age well too

Mehr is simply divine and she epitomises eternal beauty. Considering she was Miss India 1986, she is in great shape and is ageing elegantly. She sense of fashion is simple and chic. ALWAYS a delight to see Mehr Jesia.
the reason she is an it cover girl is because she sells magazines, i dont think magazines are dumb enough to put her on the cover otherwise

I think they are both so beautiful. Saw Delhi 6, didn’t think much of the movie but the Anamika Khanna clothes that Sonam was wearing looked great. I’d love to get some of those salwar kameezes.
I do like Mehr’s gown better..the colour is fab…speaking of whichI cant see the red in Sonam’s hair
agree with above, mehr is stunning and has maintained so well, but being former Miss India and supermodel, she doesnt really make that wow red carpet effect….her hair doesnt look great here and at many other events..but I guess when you have such g-o-r-g-e-o-u-s eyecandy, cares who about the rest of it?

love the outfit on sonam…its extremely simple in a lovely color…even meher’s is nice but would prefer sonams better!…and the no accessories look…gives a lot of character to the picture and doesnt take the focus away from the outfit!!
