Being quite used to Ms. Kapoor hitting home runs, neither of these looks brought it home. The blue/grown dress looked lovely waist up but the drape was just so unflattering and unsightly. The sheath dress was fabulous but for the scarf. The scarf along with the do had us thinking stewardess!

Not Quite.

P.S: The clutch is by Anusha Lalwani.

Update: The white dress is French Connection. Thanks “Glitter Girl!”

  2. A long layered black necklace would be better or a slim black belt and a black brooch instead of that scarf would be so cool..
Still i dn mind the look.

  3. The reason Sonam was initially considered a style icon was because of her chic, non-filmy style, more of a girl-out-there kindof look. But of late, everything and every appearance is so ‘costume-ey’.

While her good days might be good, her bad days are reallllyyyy BAD. Not a style icon at all I’d say. Just trying tooooooooo hard.

  5. i like the green tent. i mean everyone knows she’s slim and trim and she;s got nothing to hide..so its nice to see a different and more daring silhouette.

    • lmao, i feel the green tent loses all control of shape, if it was smaller then maybe it could worked.

  6. I absolutely love the white sheath dress. The scarf adds a lovely touch. But have to agree the blue/green dress is very unflattering.

  7. Now I want to know from people who think Sonam can rock ANYTHING! Am sorry the blue gown is anything but rocking!

I liked the sheath dress look though, she looks sweet 🙂

  8. Love the color of the gown on her & her hair at both events. I think the gown is a Neeta Lulla from the Winter/Festive 2010 collection.
