The bubbly Ms. Kapoor went for a darker mood at the Roberto Cavalli Fall 2012 show. So dark that even while being photographed, she kept from smiling.

Wonder if she broke character at all while posing for the photogs… We think not because we didnt spot a single pic of hers with a smile!

Love the look, nevertheless!

  1. A good take on Cavalli. She has brought out the darkness of animal print. Love the way she has put two prints together, something that can go so wrong.

  2. I love the hair and makeup, but I’m getting an Olsen Twin vibe from the outfit, and I’m on the fence about it. Maybe it’s the wind, but the outfit seems to have a little too much volume.

  4. Lovely. Love how the feel of the clothes has refined the make up too. Beautiful.

Her stylist sure does great work. Well, the stylist does have a great model for her too.

  5. Jacket: ugly, and doesn’t go well with the dress.
Pairing different patterns is a trend I like, though it doesn’t mean you can pair everything together…
The hair is too flat for her.

  6. Not a big fan of all that animal print, but hair and makeup looks perfect. Wish she had her signature smile, opinions would have been different!

  7. only Sonam would go this full out 2 portray a look. I dont often say this about ppl but I love her confidence. she isnt afraid to wear ANYTHING.

  8. Hate it. The volume of the skirt with the loose jacket…this look would need someone with way more attitude and personality than Sonam Kapoor to pull off. Scowling at the camera does not translate into intensity, attitude or intelligence. I actually prefer Sonam in her overstyled, bubbly Barbie doll avatar. At least it feels more like her and not (like R says), an outfit wearing her.

  9. you guys have no taste. she is freakin WORKING that outfit. hair, makeup, everything is perfection. only gripe is that she should have kept the handbag plain instead of throwing in another animal print.

  10. I luv the way everyone has an opinion on western fashion when half of them do not even understand different genres in fashion..for those who are scared of this look need to go a long way in understanding fashion..she is totally rocking this look..and the best thing is she understands what she’s wearing and can evoke that imagery the designer must be expecting!!

  11. I had the chance to meet her at the end of Roberto Cavalli’s fashion show and I have say she couldn’t be more smiling! She’s very kind and when I asked her for taking a picture of her she accepted immediately with a big smile. I think that is only a pose and nothing more. Believe me…she’s stunning in person.
