Am not a fan of the brown pants but do like the idea of layering vests. As for the appearance at the Esprit event, there just was a little too much going on. Wish she skipped the pearls, would’ve made so much of a difference.

On an aside, I love the pumps on Ms. Kapoor from both her appearances. Yummay!

  1. I loooveeee the Espirit appearance. I think more than the pearls I would have liked if she left the bag. But I still love the look! I don’t like the brown pants either but the layering vests is nice and love the color combination and yes both the pumps are yummy!

  2. OMG! The first look is STUNNING! The brown pants, I heart!
And the braid <3 and of course, the layered vests. She's classic, trendy without being boring ever(read, dia mirza :|)
The second look is flawless clothes-wise. I infact love the pearls. But her eye make isn't doing it for me. The hair is…ermm..idk.

  3. She really is the best dressed in Bollywood. She always knows what hot right now and can pull off almost every trend.
The brown outfit is a total hit and the blue would be if she wore a different necklace (or indeed skipped it altogether).

  4. I like that she plays around with her hair unlike other women who just seem to want to leave it open..

…the blue frock reminds me of my neighbor… a sweet old lady …used to dress like that for church every Sunday.

    • I agree, the blue dress outfit ages her by 20 years.
On the other hand, I luurrrve the layered vest look except for those awful brown pants. I can over look those pants though – hair + makeup + vests + pumps are mucho mas fabulosa!

    • Yes it is a more older look and it’s right for the occasion. I think she was giving lessons on fashion….must look a bit old and professional yet stylish if you are going to teach something with a board ha ha

    • lol. Haha. Agreed. The blue look does age her. I love her in the pants and double vest. Creative and totally works.
And most of all, love that she tried something different with her hair !! Its not that common for ppl anymore..Its always left open… I think braids should have a come back ! they are comfortable, easy and look really pretty !

    • LOL! Couldn’t agree more! Hate the beads and that fake rose on her jacket. And PnP Urmila gets bashed for her eye make up and Sonam doesn’t? But why? 😉

  5. I like the fact that she makes an effort to style her hair differently…not like Ash who flaunts her ugly orange hair on all events! Way to go Sonam 🙂

  6. I Love both looks, agree with you about the pearls and I also think the bag is not event appropriate. She is one person in bollywood who spends good money on her clothes and as per one of her interviews many of the fashion houses give her their clothes. Either way it is money well spent, because she know how to put the whole thing together.

  7. I Love this woman and her sense of style.

A true fashionista and not afraid to play with her looks. Cant think of a single indian celeb who will be comfortable to take the chances she takes with her hair and clothes..way to go!

  8. Quite like her1st look in brown pants. Its chic and so casual at the same time, luv her hair in braids.

However, the 2nd dress look is so typical of her- straight out of catalogue. Really bored with her, yawn…

  10. The nightingale hair and the pearls next to the flower brooch including that bag.. a lot of older women dress like that. Maybe giving a few of those things a miss would have been better.
