That sudden flare at the hips, especially on the left side is just weird!

lol ..Is there anything you don’t like of Sonam no matter how ridiculous the look is?
I hate the exaggerated eye lashes. Looks like she can’t move her face with the tight updo.
    Don’t like anything

+1 Lol same thoughts. If you observe they nitpicked almost everyone and liked this look.

      1. Saira at | | Reply

Exactly .The bias is so real and beyond ridiculous. True case of ass kiss and suck ups.

        1. olala at | | Reply

          This comment is uncalled for.

        2. Sapphire at | | Reply

Saira ignore whoever criticizes you. I like your comments on Sonam’s posts. Just write whatever you want.

            Thank You

Oh and @olala Hey Sonam :)

          2. BlueBells at |

+1 Whenever sonam looks bad, they make sure to hand-pick things that look remotely better to make the sonam posts sound good. Urghh so obvious.

        3. Z M at | | Reply

Then why do you keep coming back to the site of true suck ups? P&P is making a great effort maintaining this site and they can have whatever the hell opinion they want. Calling names doesn’t really make that great reflection upon yourself.

          1. Saira at |

            Aww…. Need a hug?

            Coz it’s MY CHOICE .. :P

          2. Fhms at |

If they can have whatever the hell opinion they want. Then they will get comments from public pointing to their bias because this blog is open for everyone. If they really don’t want others to criticize them then they should allow only members who sign up with this blog to comment. As of now They are open to all kinds of comments and criticism.

          3. zoyi at |

This is like saying ‘why did you go watch a movie if you’re going to criticize it in the end?’

        4. Sma at | | Reply

Agreed that comment is totally uncalled for

Classic case of wearing Beyonce dress without Beyonce body or attitude!

      Haha..

      Couldn’t have said it better.

The silhouette doesn’t suit her body type, makes her look huge….just a few posts back u hated urvashi rautelas outfit for lack of lining…!

  5. TrueSaber at | | Reply

I might be in the minority here but I like her look here.
Also her makeup is not whitewashed. True to her skin tone it looks good.
I dont think this is that edgy a gown to call for a Beyonce attitude anyway.

  6. Parul at | | Reply

This is a classic case of biased judgement P&P! Howcome you are so overly gaga about how good she looks in this ridiculous gown, whereas you are always so nitpicky about the “sheer bodice” of the gown and the “semi-lined inners” of the silhouettes worn by other celebs!? Not done one bit.

  7. Z M at | | Reply

The lining is soo short! Is that why she kept her legs crossed? and how did she sit with that dress?

  8. Pinky20 at | | Reply

That lining vs the actual dress disparity looks super trashy. The lace is of poor quality looks like something you could get at a local market. But have to agree that the makeup is good. Way better that the makeup she had six month back. At least it isn’t patchy and chalky.

  9. KK at | | Reply

Pshhhh…. there are a lot of things that you people (P&P) are not a fan of when other people wear it, but LOVE it when Sonam dons it. It used to be irritating and now it’s plain hilarious, because I can always tell what is going to be written under Sonam posts.

Nothing about this look works other than the fact that her makeup looks nice for once. I am all for favoritism in terms of actors but this is just blatant bias.

  10. priya at | | Reply

Utter nonsense, she looked dramatic and certainly good. Totally uncalled for these ‘o so biased’ calls. This blog is not yours to call them biased.

Amazing makeup and hair, but the dress is a horrible choice! The embellishments look tacky instead of couture!

  12. Slc at | | Reply

Sonam looks pretty good, including her makeup! She is covered head to toe and the absence of a lining doesn’t look tacky….great legs actually! A Beyonce gown, it is not, and no one needs to have a Beyonce attitude to wear this gown either.

  13. Avani at | | Reply

The makeup is finally not ashy. Hallelujah! The gown is okay but it adds unnecessary bulk on her.

  14. shona at | | Reply

Sonam always messes up at least one part of her attire.. now its the hit doesn’t go with the voluminous gown …that aside, that lace gown is a beauty in itself

    Hair****

  16. Voila at | | Reply

I like the makeup, but the dress looks quite unflattering on her. It looked alright on the model — it’s making Sonam look huge and bulky.

  17. DramaMama at | | Reply

I like the makeup but the dress is not good. It’s making her look really hippy (as in bum heavy). And it’s strange how a dress can be sheer and yet have a dowager feel to it. All she needs is a veil and she’s in mourning. Also after seeing everyone dressed quite casually for this event, Ms Kapoor looks a tad overdressed.

    1. Ahot at | | Reply

Not Sonam´s fault when some people in India don´t respect dresscodes. Most stylish award show. If there was ever a place for high fashion, it is this one.

  18. Ahot at | | Reply

This a fabulous look, no surprised it brought out the same ole same ole ;P

  19. fromchi-town at | | Reply

Her make up and hair are better than usual. But I don’t like the dress in itself. That said, she looks good.

  20. Alisha at | | Reply

That gown is hideous! Make-up is good but hate the eyelashes.

The “Matronly Tramp” look, courtesy Sonam Kapoor. A few of the comments on Sonam posts are so much more interesting than the expected gushing “critique” from P&P!

  22. Shreya at | | Reply

I think there is an element of fawning over the Sonam posts – for Eg. ” there is no denying that she looked fabulous” whereas in other celeb posts it would be a neutral comment such as ” did you like her look”. With all due respect to P & P, much as I love this site there is a small element of bias in Sonam’s favour and hey I can live with that- but do expect comments such as Sairas.

  23. prep-y at | | Reply

I think there is something jarring about this look when you see it at first, maybe, because it’s not a very predictable look. But, now that I have looked at other celebrities at this event – I do like this look quite a lot. I think everything is very well put together. I don’t care if P&P are biased, they allow everyone to post anything they want even if it’s disrespectful to them; Then, clearly, I don’t see why they can’t have a bias/ opinion on their own blog and flaunt it ;)

Face off : Jackie did a similar black lacy see through gown look a month ago and Jackie wins this round easily. Because Jackie pulled it off effortlessly and Jackie also has the body to wear see through gowns :
