October 16th, 2009 at 8:50 pm . by PayalWe were eagerly looking forward to both Sonali and Neelam at HDIL Couture week. Unfortunately both were quite disappointing in their embroidered dresses. Sonali’s dress in my opinion was quite ghastly and paired with those red ankle straps made the whole look far worse. In comparison, Neelam’s embroidered dress was better, but her look to us was just ‘meh’ only because we’ve seen Neelam do better. A ‘Not Quite’ (Neelam’s) and a ‘Not At All’ (Sonali’s) was what these two looks were for us. What about for you?

Agree about Neelam looking better-love her shoes-so cute. Had her dress been just plain black minus the design it would’ve worked just fine. Sonali’s I’m not liking at all.
Sonali’s dress is sort of interesting (Neelam’s dress is pretty but a bit sweet-16-angsty-garden-party…in a way)
but Sonali wears the dress horribly, and the lighting that the photographers use in India is really horrible, if I was a bollywood celeb I would carry my own lighting around. :/
