Sonakshi Sinha was recently announced as Provogue’s Brand Ambassador and to that event, she was spotted wearing a blue button-down shirt paired with shorts, presumably a Provogue outfit. Hard to get to the outfit itself when the hair and make-up was so unflattering.

At a more recent event to launch Provogue’s catalog, Sonakshi chose a printed dress. This time though, she got the hair and make-up right but the dress was oh-so-wrong. That flower… Tacktastic!

Also ladies, when you wear bright (and strikingly colored) nail-paint, please, no long talons; you’ve got to keep the nails clipped/filed short. Ms. Sinha, you listening?

  1. i think i can wear first dress to work, its very work ish, and the second dress is actually a nice one, minus the obvious rose. but somehow, i think this srping rose is the “it”, all the dresses i liked, most of them have one or the other rosette
i so agree with the nails. like u said, i always see ladies with odd green, red paints and talons, and they remind me of wicked witch of the east LOL, i thank my mom , that she hammered the idea in my head, short nails, no germs, i hate talons that most of the ladies try to sport

  2. the blue shirt look was not bad but the bad hair and make up dose not let it remain a good one… the dress sans the flower would have looked fine but i feel that it also looks good enough with the flower, but yes the nail color is too loud and does not somehow fit in with the entire look which is so subdued, a kind of “just out of bead” look. The peep-toes which she had on at both the events are gorgeous… specially the blue ones.

  3. I think the floral dress is fine, not crazy about the flower, but it is nice. I am sooo glad she has archived those white flats and the black ferragamo pair. Both pairs are nice.

  4. What pathetic rubbish about the nails! Ok it’s your blog but put it forward as an opinion not as if it’s some universal law or rule! Tch!

    • Yep, i am not sure if its universal law either… it works sometimes.. depending on what look u r intending to go for…I am actually not sure i get the “rule” – u really mean, according to u, long nails+bright nail polish don’t go ?

      • Exactly the same thing that I was thinking! First of all, is there such a rule? Secondly, isn’t new trend always about breaking old rules? Are rules really meant to be followed? New fashion will never come into existence if we stick to old rules!
As kanchanmasi pointed out, you could have put it as your opinion. Not this way!

    • i think she looks stunning, whoever has styled her specially for the 1st look has done a very good job but her makeup artist should take care o the hair nd makeup
