How fabulous did Kirron Kher look at the ‘Singh is Kinng’ success bash? Its good seeing her ditch the bag and go back to her batua carrying ways! And her jewelry is totally lustworthy!!

  1. OMG I know I m gonna gt a lot of flak for this but I seriously don’t think she looks good here. I mean her face looks good but her sari is just making her look like the Indian, female version of Santa Claus :P:P. Though I ‘ll agree she does hv a knack of pairing over the top accessories with a simple canvas!

  2. Although I love Kiron Kher…I don’t like her Sari..Its too bright. Maybe its the way she wore it…But she does have class…clearly!

  3. No way! I think this one is so way OTT.. i like the jewellery but thats about it.. That sari needed to have some character of its own.. right now its a red bedsheet draped on her

  4. What’s great about personal style is that the same outfit elicits different reactions when worn by different people. That red sari with the jewelery would’ve been a wtheyyy moment if worn by anyone else, but on Kiron, it complements her effervescent personality and looks vibrant and joyous, really.

  5. i think she looks fab in the saree, it was a sea of black and hideous dresses and she stood out, albeit a big woman, but serene and graceful.

  6. My first instinct was that I like it…so am gonna stick with it. ONLY Kirron can wear that. No one else should even try –unless they want to be totally overwhelmed by the jewellery. And also she exudes a kind of class that makes her stand apart.

  7. I love kK, but let us face it, she can be OTT sometimes….To analyze her desiwhatthehey here…..
The wavelength of the saree color is the highest, so she should not have gone overboard on the accessories. Had she worn a plum colored saree for instance, this would have worked better. Next, she should not have carried the highly decorated bag, it could have been a simple clutch or an unpatterned potli…Next, she can really work the necklace, and should have left the earrings, the ring, the bindi unobtrusive. This way, she could showcase the whole thing very well. She is a broad, big woman kind of beauty, and can really carry off ethnic wear so well.

  8. Much as I like Kirron’s style usually, I think this one fell flat. While I am all for chunky silver jewellery, this necklace looks like it belongs on a royal elephant, not a human being! Too oversized, and with that sari, just too much…I’d like to see this sari with the jewellery she wore last time you profiled her (the blue/red set).

I’m also ot a fan of overley decorated bindis, but that’s a small thing..

  9. Gosh, that thing is heavy around her neck!!! Looks good on her (I guess because we kinda expect stuff like this on her!) but not sure anyone else can carry (and I mean that literally as well!!!) something like this well enuff.
