Runway To Song Sequence
May 12th, 2009 at 8:48 pm . by PayalSpotted Shriya Saran wearing a Prashant Verma Fall 2008 gown in a song sequence for the Telugu film ‘Pista’. Have to say, we are quite surprised to see his creation in a movie and relieved that the gown was worn well and did not get lost in unnecessary jewellery.

I like the one from the movie.. and how she kept it simple is nice
when i saw the bust portion of this dress, it looked promising, especially because her face and makeup look good. but then i scrolled down. and the rest of the psychedelic print gave me a headache. too bad.
It actually looks better on shriya…
Agree with the unnecessary jewellery part and she is a pretty girl, but I prefer it on the runaway; it could be the quality of the photo or light.
Why does Shriya Saran always look like an aunty? A very kind and good natured aunty, but still.
The model looks fierce.
love the print not the dress!
I like it, she looks nice.
omgg
i LOVE the dres
I don’t like this print. Shriya looks OK.
Joey looks good in it. @Penny Lane- you hit the nail on the head, she is an Aunty- Shriya Saran that is.
I agree…looks like she skipped youth .. but then that’s what it takes to be in tollywood i guess. I like the sober version on the right!
ooo i love shriya’s shiney jet black hair! I really like this dress, and she looks good in it.
I like the dress!
this dress was probably the saving grace for the PV, F/08 collection (partially because it shoots well)
the print is very refreshing and has the ability to transcend international markets.
wow lovely dress
It’s a beautiful dress, totally resort. Lovvve it. And I just don’t get this woman’s look, I disagree with people who find her pretty. This dress is so wrong for her personality and look, No matter what she does she look jaded like an auntie…
I adore the print of this dress & I think Shriya wears it very well. & I agree that no jewellery looks best – it lets the dress speak for it self.
This is a great still. I like the darker wash of the dress better, but I think Shriya’s look is more subtle, more..delicate, maybe? Either way, the softness of the color tones looks great against that background.
