Sari Style
Shriya attended Manish Malhotra’s charity show for the Sahachari Foundation wearing a blue sari by the designer’s latest collection. Hair in a middle parted low bun, she finished out her look with a bindi, a McQueen clutch and kundan earrings.
The hairdo and bindi addition was quite unexpected and while I like appreciate the effort, am not still in love with this look. Maybe because I found the sari busy and wasn’t a fan of the the velvet blouse. But that’s just me.
Did you like her sari look?

Why does she wear that horrible orange bronzer in almost every single outing of hers?!
Not a fan of the blouse but she looks amazing!
Manish Malhotra going the Sabyasachi way?
I usually don’t comment on shriya’s looks because I find them boring all the time and not even debatable. But I wanted to say this now. She has a very classic traditional face like Sridevi n hemamalini. Unfortunately she doesn’t know that. What her faces conveys and what her clothes convey are totally different. She needs to work on that. Her outfits come across as confusing most of the time. She should see someone like Sridevi who has a classic Indian face nail it every time either in western and Indian outfits. Hope she or her stylists are taking note of this ?
I agree that she is has the face and body of a conventional Indian beauty. It is quite unfortunate that her clothes don’t build on her beauty as often as we would have liked to see. Case in point -this velvet blouse, the tacky saree and the make up.
Totally agree!
Plus there is the heavy handed make up.. Makes a mannequin out of a pretty woman 🙁
I actually enjoyed this look and I think it is the bindi and hairstyle. It gives off a good traditional vibe of how sari’s were styled and she looks gorgeous! I like the sari as well.
+1
She looks lovely.
A for effort
I dunno, something about the third picture scares me a little bit.
I think this is probably her best look so far. There’s something off about her foundation though: it’s very ‘ashy’ on her.
Unfortunately, one word summarizes every one of her appearances so far- LOUD.
She’d do so much better with minimal makeup, soft hair dos contrasting those sharp features.
Clothes are another matter altogether 😛 this one was a nice change-up.
Couldn’t agree more.
Shriya, please, please, just one appearance without this grotesque make-up. Come on, be brave!
