I think she looks gorgeous and LOVE the unusual choice. Let’s face it, whatever she would have chosen to wear would have been dissected. Some people will like it, some won’t. I personally think Shilpa has the body and grace to carry off even a potato sack. She looks beautiful.

p.s.i think kangana ranaut looked better than their reception party with an elegant saree! dont know why shilpa chooses to wear gold all the time when it doesnt suit her

very disappointing. she shud have chosen other designer for reception as she chose manish malhotra for engagement and tarun tahiliani for marriage. metallic colors like gold look good on bolder women like lara or rani. and shilpa is so elegant. doesnt suit her at all and the shade id very light. and like most people say here the dress is cheap with the baring flesh and cut at the waist. doesnt look like newly wed bride entering a new household. overall a letdown!

Its hard not to look like a stage costume yet still be dressed up for an actress… I’ve noticed for most actresses weddings/receptions I’ve felt that they’ve either: a.) looked better in their movie scenes when getting married b.) looked like they were shooting another scene/dance when really its their actual wedding. It’s catch 22 for them so give them a break! That being said I LOVE this outfit.. the solid colour was a good choice in my opinion.. doesn’t chop up her fab body.. she looks like a goddess.. glowing, glittery, and the design/draping is so unique and beautiful.
