I think it is a settu mundu and not a pre-stitched sari

It looks like the saree and the blouse belongs to two different sets..

I agree. This is one odd sari/blouse combination.

It is difficult to look at this and not cringe. I am just going to start associating her with atrocious taste.

Looks like a big mess to me. The hair, make-up and jewelry on the other hand isn’t bad.

Looks like a Kerala Onam sari (mundu). Are you sure it’s not that?

Onam sari. lol. That IS called Kasavu. P&P has mentioned it.

Not my cup of tea but Shilpa wears it well.

The blouse and the drape totally spoiled this. These sarees are otherwise hard to look bad in – they look lovely with orange/maroon/green blouses.

This look makes me cringe! What a wrong choice of blouse for such a beautiful Kerala Saree… Also the draping is so not right… Such a mess!

This must be ‘set mundu’ a sari style from Kerala. This is supposed to be worn like this only…… The drape is its specialty….. (or it must be combo of regular kerala sari & set mund), friends please search for more information on this in internet :-) …. this style is quite famous in south india

Selling a kerala kasavu set mundu under “MASABA”brand is not correct and is absolutely unethical. This is a traditional saree which have been worn by the keralites sinces good old ages. Anyways, the pre stiched saree doesn’t look neat either.

      Exactly! Well said!

Shilpa looks beautiful in that 3rd pic. I wish she wore a regular set mundu-kasavu saree rather than this faux one “designed” by MASABA. She would have rocked the set mundu.

such a painful, ugly designed saree. This design is killing the rich feel of traditional kerela saree with bad taste of design.
