Sharmila and Soha on Hello India

One can’t help but go a lil’ aww seeing Sharmila and Soha on this cover but while I love Sharmila in her sari, I felt the red lehenga on Soha was a wee bit bridal. Perhaps, it was a deliberate move on the stylist’s part since Sharmila’s mentioned how she would love to see Soha get married.

  1. oh come on guys you don’t have to be critical every time!!!
soha looks lovely. not bridal at all. it’s good to see her in a different hairstyle. (well not all that different but prefer it to the middle parting)
    sharmila is elegant as always.

  3. I was waiting for you to feature this. It is so beautiful. I love that Soha is in bright colours and Sharmila in pastels. Perfect for the mother-daughter vibe. Love Soha’s styling. She looks beautiful. Sharmila never goes wrong.

I don’t think Soha’s attire is that bridal for you to even mention it. Just nitpicking, are you?

Love the photos on the side, they complement the main one.

  6. I think they both look good. Sharmila is royalty out and out. Love her saree, jewelry, hair, makeup – everything!
Soha, for once, does charm in ethnic wear. Just the right amount of waist show – she actually looks very feminine.

Oh, and about the whole bridal thing – I have to tell you – red is SO overdone in lehengas these days. Most designers churn out too much of it. They think everyone wants to look like a bride. How wrong.

  7. Love them! I also totally see the bridal type. Although…knowing that the trend for contemporary bridal dresses as fairly loud and more intricate, I’m sure the cover artists decided that Soha’s look is understated. ;o)

  8. Finally, Soha got a stylist to make her hair look good! Sharmilla could have stuck with her old hairstylist, as this slanted side part does not suit her age.

  11. Soha looks soooo much better than usual – the lehnga and jewelery are nice. I think like Vidya, indian clothes suit her better than western outfits. I think its just a certain look they have. Sharmilas saree is beautiful, looks like chikaan work which I love, but I’m sure I’ve seen her wear that jewelery here before? You’d think she’d have all these beautiful heirloom pieces from her husbands family, but I’ve never seen her or Soha in them.
