Without a doubt, Maria..she’s beautiful inside and out, love reading her blog..Vidya should have paired her sari with a simple plain blouse instead.

I feel like smacking both of them for ruining those lovely sarees with bad drapes!!
What is the purpose of the weird twist on Maria’s shoulder?
And Vidya, if you don’t know how to drape a Dhakai Jamdani please ask Rani Mukherjee or Pratima Gaurav…I’m sure they’d help you out!

+1. I saw the Dhakai Jamdani on Vidya and lamented the butchering of it. Seriously, if lousy draping of beautiful sarees is all this lady can do, then why is she being featured on this site again and again? Agreed, Fashion means comfort, but then sweatpants and lounge attires never qualified for this category. Vidya is not doing anyone any favors with her same old, same old look (read badly draped saree).

If I am not mistaken, I think Vidya walked the ramp in
that sari.. Wish she had draped it better !!

Maria gets my vote, she has been looking really good lately. As to Vidya, love her, but the recent saris she has been wearing make her look big inspite of the fact that she has lost weight. Would love to see her in a Masaba sari

The drape Vidya tries for is like a casual drape, the kind you might see in 70s movies. The problem is that her sari always looks like she started to drape it all proper and then got it all wrong leaving that bit hanging at the shoulder. Pretty sure a Shabana could set her straight on how to wear it! I don’t like her blouse style either but my tailor informs me that ladies ask for “Vidya syle”. Whatever.

For once not feeling Maria’s sari, Vidya’s is prettier but not draped well.

Like Maria’s saree but you can’t drape a saree like that unless you are super thin. Finding her sides not flattering at ALL.

I think she looks just fine, so what if she has an hourglass figure, she looks great even with that midriff showing on the side!

I differ. She has a curvy body…perfect for a saree

Are we looking at the same person? She looks amazing!

I agree. I dont find the sides flattering like you said. Prefer Vidya’s drape definitely. Am surprised since usually i love Maria in sarees.

Mini and Maria rule sarees. Vidya should learn how to change up the sari looks from these two.

I think she looks pretty and you don’t have to be super thin to show off your skin. Its all about how confident you are in your own skin.
