The press meet of Chandra saw Shriya in a very different avatar. Question is, do you like? We think the look could’ve used some editing. The jewellery and the nose stud felt overwhelming.

  1. It would have been overwhelming had she gone for a heavy necklace. As it is, its looking good. Yes, with the nose ring included. Saris like these look good with some heavy duty jewellery

  3. Though not a fan, I think she looks good in this one.. also, she may be trying to style in the lines of the princess role in that movie.

    • this is a press meet for a movie in which she plays a character of a princess (a period movie) and she has to wear these accessories. What is wrong in wearing these accessories with those traditional kanjiveraam. In southindia ladies do wear these accessories everyday.

  4. The sari looks fun and fresh on her. I will take this look any day over Vidya balan who makes even kanchivarams yawn inducing with her 3/4th sleeveless and Aunty looks.

  5. I’ll take this look any day compared to her previous looks..is she in character??perhaps that’s why we don’t see her ‘front show’ or ‘back show’ like she always does :p

  6. The nose stud and hair is a part of her look in the movie Chandra where she plays a princess.. I think she makes kanjeevaram work like none other. And this is a critic speaking.

  7. Something seems to be off. I think the saree needs ironing. But yes, this is certainly an improvement on how we usually see Ms. Saran! And I much prefer her look to Ms. Balan’s same ol’ same ol’.
