When you have a sighting like Tulip’s on the red carpet, you can’t but help appreciate all the others for not only picking a better sari to wear but for also wearing it really well! Told ya so, it’s all relative !

  1. Sania has a serious case of makeup-artist-screw-up-ery. Urvashi Sharma looks absolutely generic and blah and there’s nothing else to be said about Tulip.
Dia Mirza looks absolutely fantastic. I can’t think of anyone else who can pull off that sari. Also, I love that she keeps changing up her hair.

  2. Does Dia Mirza ever look less than delectable? I knew nothing of her (and Kangana Ranaut) before HHC but she is No 1 on my list of women featured on HHC. Just love her serene beauty and her sense of style which is somehow both modern and timeless.

PS: And Kangana is No.2 – she’s a bit more edgy and wrong at times but also fun.

  3. Actually Sanias looking pretty and I dont see whats so bad about her makeup, if anything Diyas is looking more pan-stick like. I love Diyas saree though, absolutley gorgeous. The red ones nice too.

  4. am I the only one who finds dia to be a bit bland. I mean I know people find her pretty but in the West you have so many women who look like that, it is only in the sub continent that such a big deal is made out of their looks. There’s nothing remotely Indian about her looks though she does dress very well indeed.

    • I disagree, especially with the notion that Dia doesn’t look Indian. The subcontinent is comprised of hundreds of cultures, many with distinct phenotypes. Dia may not be fully Indian by blood, but she has the quintessential features associated with the stereotypical Indian – doe eyes, long nose, and full lips. It irks me that people continue to bring up the whole “not looking Indian” nonsense, particularly because it’s something that’s often said in regard to myself.

….Anyways, I think she looks lovely here, but I wish her sari was a little less sheer.

  5. Diya is perfection here. I don’t think anyone else could have pulled off this saree. Love her plait hairstyle. So uncommon in B’wood. She needed a separate post.

Sania has too much make-up. Urvashi’s saree is nice, but blouse is so passe. Tulip, less said the better.

  6. I love Sania’s sari but she’s looking boring otherwise, she needs help in the make-up department!
