In Raw Mango

At the screening of Angry Indian Goddesses at the Mumbai Film Festival, Sandhya was seen in a Raw Mango sari. The sari option may have felt more low-key given her choices at the other film festivals but that doesn’t mean she didn’t look nice. She did.

Part of me wishes she had worn a necklace here but it wasn’t a deal breaker.

  1. I don’t know who she is, but she looks lovely in this appearance. This is the only time I liked her look since I’ve been seeing her here.

      • Sapphire.. you must be awfully young not to know Sandhya Mridul. 🙂
Watch Mani Ratnam’s Saathiya while I go hide my face somewhere.

        • Haha. Maybe because most of us are multi lingual in India? Also, Saathiya was NOT directed by Maniratnam ji. He directed Alaipayudhey (the original Tamil version) and the Hindi version Saathiya was directed by Shaad Ali. I have watched both, but I didn’t recognize Sandhya from it until you reminded me. 😛

          • The Telugu version was only a dubbed version of Tamil Alaipayudey and not a remake. But the Hindi was a remake and was directed by someone else. So for me, it didn’t quite pack a punch because Maniratnam IS Maniratnam. Plus Madhavan was plain adorbs. 🙂

  2. There is a way that you wear a certain kind of saree in a certain kind of way and it ages you. Maybe its the long-sleeved blouse or how you hold the pallu- can’t put my finger on it.But nevertheless she’s looking good.

Anyway it’s a lovely saree worn beautifully. Such a relief that more n more actresses are going the handloom route.
