In Am:Pm

Wearing hot off the runway Am:Pm separates was Sameera Reddy at Amitabh Bachchan’s seventieth Birthday celebrations.

Now, you know I loved this collection. And I would’ve loved this appearance of Ms. Reddy’s too except, there were a couple of kinks. While I had no complaints with the top knot or the Choo (clutch), the jewelry didn’t quite go with rest of her look.

The bigger problem was of course the inappropriateness of the outfit given the event in question. Seeing as how everyone else was dressed, this stood out and not for the right reason. Had Sameera wanted to go the western route, wish she had picked a more formal look.

  1. Ugh … she is a really horrible dresser espesially cuz she always looks uncomfortable as though she herself is not convinced. I still cant get over those shiny oxford she wore with a satin dress a few months ago!

  2. HATE it with a passion!
    a) Look, there’s a pop of neon with all that black! So, original! She needs to lose that Choo ASAP.
    b) She totally massacred those two potentially fierce outfits by trying to be “bold” and mixing the prints. Unfortunately for her, it didn’t work at all.
Would have loved to see these pants with the plain black belted top, burgundy lips and clutch and a smokey eye with a romantic wispy ponytail. Perfect combination of fierce and girly IMO.

  3. Its Nice modern, Good for a Birthday event. You really dont need to go swanky route unless you are a Host. Thank god we have people like her in the industry, that we get to see sartorial site’s on – off.

  4. yes mixing prints is “in”. But this look is “out(the window)”.
This mix and match did not work! but i will say that im glad she tries something diff each time, some things work and some dont.
wish she wore it as it was presented on the runway.

  5. Why is her hand in that weird pose??? The make-up is completely off which ruins it begin with. And the earrings and cuff doesn’t go with the outfit. I like neon and checks contrast…but its still not working….its like she played dress up like a child!!! And I totally agree western wear is fine but find an appropriate on for an event like this.

  6. We get it already! You are suddenly fierce and want to share your fierceness with the whole world. But seriously pick the right event to do so and worst of all the mix and mismatch is not even working
