Nope…I feel those Dhoti Pants belong to a kurti

I like it, but I’d have skipped the necklace.

+1. I wouldn’t dream this outfit up, but it works, save for that necklace.

Totally. The necklace and the open hair are a bit too much..

Kudos to her for not coming off looking clownish…despite the mishmash she actually does make it work. I would certainly take away the jacket for one.

    Ooh! Like!

    She didn’t need the jacket.

With SO many potentially competing elements this look theoretically shouldn’t work but man it totally does! It is actually brilliant styling – she looks SO good and I’d totally want to copy it (though I’m not sure I could carry it off)
What I do know is I want those dhoti pants NOW!!

    AWKWARD

She could have given her jacket a miss!

Love it waist down…those pants and jootis look fantastic together. With no necklace or at least a thinner, longer chain this outfit could’ve been killer!

I would either subtracted the jacket or the necklace.
Love those dhoti pants … anyone knows where I can buy a pair online?

Not everyone can dare to wear that combination nd more so , pull it off so so well! Rosh ni totally nailed it !

I love it. I find it edgy.

Great styling and her confidence shines through. Love the dhotis

The pants look nice on her, but if I saw someone wearing this on the street, I’d totally think that they ruined a pretty handloom sari

  18. Hsap at | | Reply

Take away her jacket and bag and then the look will work

  19. sree at | | Reply

The jacket is unnecessary but I like the rest of the outfit.

Nyet! Those dhoti pants belong on a farm when you are harvesting paddy. Not on a red carpet. The entire ensemble is mismatched and bad. Who sent a memo to designers that dhoti pants must be introduced to the public at large and promoted as something stylish?

    1. PrettyCritic at | | Reply

Haha Your comment just cracked me up. Does this look like the red carpet to you? It’s an exhibition and very casual.
Dhoti pants should be reserved for the farm? Really??

That bag just doesn’t belong here. But it’s a great new look! Well styled. Though i wonder how a kimono would work instead of this jacket.

I love the look. She manages to pull off the busy look with such ease. Even if wanted to wear a jacket..she should’ve chosen a different one. Perhaps a short, clean, well-fitted blazer/jacket.

Take away that necklace and that bag, and then let’s talk :)

I want every thing she is wearing in this look…I seriously like it!

leave the white shirt and jacket. tie her hair up in a pony with dark burgundy lips. get a hippie tote or a clutch and black flats

  28. jadine at | | Reply

Love it! A little iffy about the jacket, though. :)

Very quirky. I am surprised I like the missmatch.
